OLD: my sterling silver Tifanny’s ring FH gave me when we finally took off our fake engagement/wedding rings we came back with from Vegas to freak out our parents (huge, hilarious prank they still hate us for lol). I wore it on my left ring finger to keep it warm in the 4 years between my fake engagement ring coming off and my real one coming on ๐Ÿ™‚

NEW: take your pick – dress? jewelry? clutch? fake eyelashes?

BORROWED: my deceased grandmother’s watch. I’ll be wearing it along with a Badgley Mischka watch on my left wrist.

BLUE: sparkly blue TOMS!!!

Old: Still thinking about this; maybe my princess cut diamond earrings that my mom bought me for graduation (not that old, but not new). No idea if I don’t wear these earrings. Maybe FI’s mom would have something to include??

New: New veil (when I finally order one) and something sexy for underneath. My dress and shoes are pre-owned, so they’re not new.

Borrowed: Maybe my mom’s diamond hoop earrings (if I don’t wear my diamond studs). I can’t imagine what else I may need to “borrow”.

Blue: My cheapo long necklace I bought from Casual Corner about 15 years ago – I think it was on clearance. ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s blue crystal/glass and fake pearls. I’m going to wrap it around my wrist a few times for a bracelet. It will go with the bling on the dress. It will also completely cover up my blue wrist tattoo which will make my parents happy.

Something Old:  My RHR, which is my diamond from DH1, very sentimental

Something New:  The dress and shoes I guess?

Something Borrowed:  No idea

Something Blue:  Blue larimar necklace my Dad gave me in the Dominican, which is where Fiance proposed.  Larimar is native to only the Dominican, so it’s special for me.  Laughing

Old: Great grandmothers handkerchief

New: dress, veil, jewelry. Would possibly like something different as most brides use these as their new?

Borrowed: Unsure but I supposed my grandmothers hankerchief would be counted since it is my mothers technically now.

Blue: Handkerchief has embroidered blue flowers and my shoes will be teal blue.

I’m not going to follow this tradition, so I’m just having “something blue” and I’m only doing that for a sentimental purpose.

My beautiful mother passed away 5 years ago, when I was 21 years old.  Her birthday was in March and aquamarine is her birthstone.  So, my “something blue” is a .91 carat trillion cut aquamarine ring set in sterling silver, that I will be wearing in remembrance of her that day.
