I <3 this thread.
I <3 this thread.
Paleo fudge. I made it trying to find something sweet for a friend and now both sides demand it for every get together. It’s good, but it’s time consuming.
i make the greatest sweet candied sweet potatoes this side of the Mason-Dixon Line, or so I’m told, I don’t eat sweet potatoes! Lol I just make them, they are so famous in my family that as soon as Halloween is over I am bombarded by texts, emails and phone calls making sure I will be making them this year. I have had to double the recipe 3 times already as we always run out Before everyone gets their second and sometimes third helpings. 🙂 I don’t use recipes per sey, I just get the ingredients and throw them together until I think its good. But here are the ingredients.
sweet potatoes, brown sugar, marshmallows, caramel drizzle, butter, Mountain Dew.
mix all of those, minus marshmallows, bake on 350 for about 20 minutes or until taters are cooked, top with marshmallows and drizzle with caramel again, bake until golden brown on top. Add walnuts if you like. 🙂
These are both yummy and my family always asks me to contribute these to almost every holiday dinner. Enjoy!

@Mine29: I just want you to know this recipe of hot corn is a STAPLE for our holiday meals (we make ours in the crock pot). We always have it, and it is always gone. I can’t handle spicy (and my mom makes it burn your ass hot), but I will eat this if it means my mouth being on fire for a while.
On to your question, I now make Grandma’s Green Bean Casserole from All Recipes. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/grandmas-green-bean-casserole/
Everyone can’t help but eat a few helpings, so I always have to make two pans.
Love all these recipes!! Never thought I’d give out this one, but I found it a few years ago and it is always a hit!
Soft pumpkin spice cookies with cinnamon frosting….get ready, ladies
