i cant see the pic either
The pic wasn’t showing up! Don’t know why. How about if u click the link?
Here’s a pic and I love it!
ohh that one.. yes i love it!!
The other one I love is Maggie sottero Carissa. I actually ended up buying a different dress all together but now regretting my decision and considering getting the Juliette or Carissa as well. I’ll post up a pic of my dress that I bought when I get on a computer. There are no pix online yet as its 2013 line and I’m the first to order.
There we also no photos of any real person wearing the Juliette which worries me as it might be a passing trend so people stay away from buying it maybe (like I did. I love the dramatic look of the dress tho!
Personally, while I love Maggie Sottero gowns, this one is just OK for me. I think what gets me is that the skirt looks a bit like spread buttercream icing. I love how unique it looks, but not really something I’d wear.
Edit: OP, you didn’t buy it from that site though, did you?
My dress also has that type of skirt and it looks amazing when you walk. Looks just like you are floating. I can see why for some girls that the skirt on this dress could be overwhelming, but I think its the bomb. My dress doesn’t have as big of a skirt, mine’s more of modified mermaid, but this dress makes a statement. Do it! 🙂
No I didn’t buy from that site but I was consiseeing buying it. Is it a trustworthy site?
Do you have a picture of your dress blondieluvsbling?
OMG that dress! It’s gorgeous. Swoons. 😀
@Chaylicious: I had to do some research, because I am always VERY careful about ordering things online. I never order online until I do research, which is why I’d asked if you’d purchased something already. It is easy to claim things to be 100% Authentic, but have them NOT be. Usually, with a bit of investigation, you can quickly determine if a website offers counterfeits or not. The first sign is price – They are selling the Maggie Dress I am looking to buy (from a local store here) for close to the same price, so that was a good sign. If a dress is about $300-$400, I would turn away. Immediately.
The next step was to check the website’s “proof”. As you can see here:
they show that they order the dresses directly from Maggie Sottero. They list their address and the name of their company. But still, with photoshop that information can easily be manipulated and faked. Since it appears they are based out of the US and they list their zip code, it is easy to cross-reference with the official Maggie Sottero website.
So that is what I did. Luckily, BestBridalPrices.Com is listed on the Maggie Sottero website as being an authorized retailer, and that leads me to believe that this website is at least an authorized retailer of Maggie Sottero, so you can be fairly certain the dress will not be a knock off.
To check for yourself go to:
Type in 62002 (Alton, IL, USA) in the zip code, select 25 miles and search. It should pop up for you.
With that said, you still run the risk of normal e-purchases. Shipping time, accuracy of the order, etc. and long distance customer support can be bothersome. I checked their BBB, listed here:
As for if it is safe to order from them, only you can make that call, but I’ve presented you with all the research I’ve done, so hopefully that could help you make a desicion. I never make a purchase of over $150 from a site I’ve never done business with, and will only continue to do business with then at higher prices if I am completely satisfied with my prior and less-expensive purchases.
Just remember, whenever you order things online you’re taking a risk. Best of luck!
