What's your perfect proposal like…? Just for fun!

My “perfect” proposal would be him proposing in Greece after just getting back from a nice dinner. We’d be standing outside overlooking the moonlight against the ocean with glasses of champagne for a night cap and he’d pop the question. We’d spend the rest of the vacation in bliss, being able to share the moment just the two of us and then fly home to share with family and friends.

I would love for it a to be super romantic and meaningful.  Either after a I finish a race or a nice restaurant in the city where we could celebrate with our friends immediately afterwards.

Just the man I love asking me to marry him. That is all. Everything else is unecessary.

Somewhere with JUST him and I involving stars by the water at night – nothing super elaborate, just simple with him saying something very heartfelt.

He on the other hand wants to involve other people or he likes restaurant proposals – both of them are my worst nightmares.

At this point I’d take anything!

But I think it will be something super casual, in the car ride home from hockey, in bed while we’re being all goofy and playing around, in our backyard on the deck while we have early saturday morning coffee. I always hope he would do the special little speech to tell me why he wants to marry me and all the most romantic of things, but I honestly don’t see that happening.

Edited to add: actually during saturday morning deck coffees sounds pretty amazing too haha

All I want is sincerity. If I can tell he put a little effort into it, even in the tiniest of ways because he cares, I’m  happy. If I can tell that he is genuinely happy to ask me to be his wife and marry him, and so long as he’s down on one knee, I’m happy! All I really want his him to sincerely and genuinely ask me when he does. And down on one knee!! That’s like my only real request…nothing fancy!

I always imagined on the beach or on a hike during a romantic picnic at the summit …but he could also just propose at home and be genuine about it and it’d be perfect to me.

Anywhere in Savannah, really. I find it to be one of the most romantic places ever – even though I know most people think of places like Paris or Hawaii (and I’d love either of those, too, they’re just less economical). Just strolling through Forsyth Park, sitting on a bench under a live oak or by the fountain would be absolutely perfect.

But then I think, anywhere he proposes would be romantic. Asking someone to spend the rest of their life with you has that effect. 🙂

My dream proposal would be just the two of us, eating pizza, watching either beauty and the beast, or a Green Bay packers game. Then when the packers won or belle saves the beast, he says how much he loves me and blocks the tv on his knee asking if I would marry him. I’d say yes instantly.
