We are walking into “So Happy Together” by the Turtles.  That’s our song.  I have no clue what to have the bridal party walk in to.

Tweezer Reprise for everyone.  No change in music for us…but the song is a great example of tension and release, so our entrance will (hopefully) coincide with the release.  We haven’t even asked our bridal party yet and when we told a couple we are close to, they asked if they could be in the party just to walk in to that song.

It’s an amazing, almost wordless song.  I’m a sentimental dork when it comes to music and I cry tears of joy when I hear it because I have such great memories associated with that song. πŸ™‚

@FutureMrsOToole:

that is a great song choice! I am thinking of something along those lines too, but haven’t set my heart on anything yet. Maybe Dynamite.

I’m currently obsessed with Usher’s “More” and JTX’s “Love In America”…but I’m not sure I’ll be able to sell my fiance on either one..lol

@gina0485: We also thought about using Dynamite too! πŸ™‚

In the end we decided to use “Rocketeer” by Far East Movement feat. Ryan Tedder.  We both like the song and it was upbeat.  Everyone walked in to the song, including our parents, haha, but I think people really liked it .  I had a few friends who commented that they really enjoyed the music choices that we made, so I figured it wasn’t all bad πŸ™‚

I think we’re going to have “It had to be You” by Harry Connick Jr. be our entrance song.

For our first dance we’ve requested “This Never Happened Before” by Paul McCartney.

For the cake cutting, “This will be an Everlasting Love” by Natalie Cole.

For the Father/Daughter Mother/Son dance, we’re going to have “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong. Since DH’s mother is deceased, he is going to dance with my mom, and the four of us are going to dance at the same time rather than two separte dances.

It’s not for everyone, but we used “The Final Game” from the movie Rudy (We’re both Notre Dame alumni and huge football fans). Some of our college friends actually started chanting our name, the way the fans in the movie start chanting Rudy, it was awesome

Steve Wonder, Signed Sealed Delievered, I’m Your’s.  I know it’s been done so many times but the bridal party is coming in to You Sexy Thang by Hot Chocolate so we wanted to stick to the same genre of music.

My FI’s a HUGE Yankee’s fan, so our entrance song will be “New York, New York” by Sinatra since that’s the song that plays when the Yankees win a game πŸ™‚
