Our recessional was U2’s Beautiful Day. We had the music start right during our first kiss and then get louder right after being pronounced and walking down the aisle. I loved it!!

“Home” By Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic zeros!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjFaenf1T-Y
We are very excited about it.  We wanted something a bit more upbeat and fun since we will have just gotten married!  Its different but we think it will be fun. We especially love the chorus “home is where ever I’m with you” since we have lived in different states for 3 years.

More Lyrics since I think its so cute:
I do love my Ma & Pa
Not the way that I do love you

MaleHoly roly, me, oh my, you’re the apple of my eye
Girl, I’ve never loved one like you

Man, oh man, you’re my best friend, I scream it to the nothingness
There ain’t nothin’ that I need

It’s awesome how many creative songs are being chosen.  I think we’re going to have the chorus of hold my hand by hootie and the blowfish play over and over.  It’s funny, it feels kind of dorky typing that out, but the idea came to my head a few months ago and I got really excited about it.  ๐Ÿ™‚  So luckily my fiance agreed, so there we go

@caitmarae that is a cute idea with the “kiss me” following your first kiss
and @ Judithsr that is also very cute since you will be holding hands!  I love it and ours is SUPER dorky

Bittersweet Symphony by the Verve. But I also think Accidentally in Love by Counting Crows or Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles would have been really cute as well!

I think we will be using The Proclaimers — 500 miles as our recessional.

Fiance is dying to use “I Got A Feeling” – Black Eyed Peas, but I refuse in the church! Lol I like the above choices! I totally forgot about recessional music! Thanks for the reminder! ๐Ÿ™‚

“Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles… it was played by a string trio.  ๐Ÿ™‚
