@Vanilla-latte:  I am also terrified of vomit!!!! I would literally run OUT of the house when I was little if anyone in my family was getting sick. I am still scared of it to this day and I am a nurse! haha

@smirkypox:  One night, my sister and I had a near meltdown when we saw a dayglow spider (it was a white spider) crawl across her dashboard.  Luckily, we were calm enough to pull over and find the fcker.  For this reason, we make an effort not to park our cars nears bushes/trees.

I’m afraid of clowns.  My mom’s fault for letting us watch IT.

@arabbel:  You and me both! I think it’s called trypophobia. I don’t suggest googling it, I did it – big mistake! It made me sick to my stomach.

I also hate wasps. I’m so afraid of them I hardly dare move when one is around. They seem weirdly attracted to me for some reason though, it’s crazy. They come from out of nowehere and attack me, I’ve been stung so many times I stopped counting. It made my SO an expert wasp killer! lol

@MsMeow:  Ha! A friend was making fun of me for it, so I google image searched it and showed it to her. I only saw the results for a split second but even that burned itself into my brain. 0.0 I’m pretty sure I transferred my fear to her though! Those image results are enough to horrify anyone!

@Vanilla-latte:  This

I’m a hardcore emetophobe, it’s awful. I sometimes google movies before I see them just to see if there’s any puke in them, especially if they’re comedies. Why is it always comedies? What’s so funny about the most horrible thing on Earth?

I cannot stand when people point with their pinky fingers or stick them out while holding a glass or something. That fragile little finger is just ASKING to have something come out of nowhere and sever it. I always get a little queasy and have to look away when I see someone doing that. And I am very careful with my own pinkies. A fact which my family and fiancé love to exploit..: they’re always waving their pinkies around trying to creep me out. WELL, they won’t be laughing when they only have 4 fingers after a horrifying freak accident.

@Arshim:  I am terrified of caves. Yep. I have no idea why…I have only been in them a couple times as a child at summer camp. Also any dark, closed off space that reminds me of a cave. I can’t even walk inside them. Embarrassing, I know! And totally irrational!

I’m afraid of moths and I have been since I was little. No explanation for it at all. I’m also claustrophobic and terrified of spiders. They just have an unnatural number of legs and eyes! When I inherited my dad’s van, I had no idea that an entire nest of spiders had taken up residence in it until the weather started to get warm and they began to come out. My mom made me drive it with the spiders (HUNDREDS of them) in it, knowing I’m deathly afraid of them and hoping it would get rid of my phobia. Nope! *shudders*

The weirdest thing I’m afraid of is the noise that’s produced when someone rubs their finger/hand across a balloon. That squeaking noise just grates on my nerves and I always have to run out of the room when someone does that. The worst part is, people keep doing it on purpose if I tell them I hate it.

Heights. When I was younger we were on a ship and my mother asked me to watch my sisters on the deck. One of them decided to climb on the edge of the boat (she was a gymnast, just like if she was on the assymetrical bars), I remember I freaked out big time and just grabbed her and pulled her down.

Since then I get so much vertigo whenever someone is on a high place and might fall over. We got the 19th floor on an hotel in Mazatlan and they were taking pictures on the balcony, I almost cried.

@Arshim:  I’m terrified of whales. Like, I can’t even see a picture of them without freaking out. I’m kind of the same way with cruise ships. Especially the ones with whale tails.
