@SBourgeous: You’re right about that. Hmm. I wonder how many there’ll be then?

It’s funny. I still have my Keirsey book and pulled it out and read about how Fiance and I will be as parents; how we are as “mates;” all that good stuff. It was eerily accurate, for the most part.

ESFJ/”Provider”

But every time I take one of these it changes, so I’m not sure how reliable it is (at least for me!).

This is so funny you posted this! I was totally going to do the same thread last night but then my son shut off the computer! I am an INFP/Idealist personality. It really does describe me to a T, too.

I’m an INFJ with an Idealist Counselor personality.

I took these same tests two years for an AmeriCorps program, so I’m happy to see I haven’t changed–it pretty much describes me perfectly. And it’s definitely funny to see so many INFJs on here since we’re supposed to be rare.

@Golden139: πŸ™‚ Like SBourgeous said, it may be the reason we ARE here. Which is in and of itself fascinating. :p I’m such a dork..

FH is an INTJ – A Rational Mastermind

I’d say we’re pretty opposite but also complimentary.

@AmeliaBedelia: I agree–I definitely think SBourgeous is on to something with that πŸ™‚ Very interesting.

@SBourgeous: My Fiance and I are similar to you–he is an ENFJ, so I think we contrast/compliment each other pretty well too πŸ™‚

@AmeliaBedelia: I wish I had that book!

@Golden139: Opposites do attract. I asked my FH to take the test while he was in the kitchen cutting up meat from a deer he shot yesterday… and I’m a vegetarian πŸ™‚

This is such a good thread, I can’t wait to see what the other INFJ’S SOs are like. So far it seems like most of us have REALLY different SOs. Mine is only one letter off, but that letter changes so much! A rational and an idealist? So different.

I’m a Guardian, don’t remember what the subtype is though. Funny, two years ago I was an Idealist.

@SBourgeous: It’s pretty cheap on half.com – It’s Please Understand Me: Character & Temperament Types. David Keirsey and Marilyn Bates. πŸ™‚ Enjoy! haha

ISFJ/Guardian Protector (Like Mother Teresa, Rosa Parks and Clara Barton–and a lot others that aren’t as cool).

So, still an S-J (Guardian) in Kiersey, ISFJ on the Myers-Brigg. I’m a VERY strong introvert as espected, but F(eeling) won just very slightly over T(hinking). 15 years ago it was almost the same results except T had won just slightly over F. Good to know I’m pretty much still the same person, except maybe more of a softie now with age πŸ™‚ I’m either a Guardian Protector or Guardian Inspector depending on where I land in the heart vs. mind conflict.

@Mrs Sarah McK:  “and a lot others that aren’t as cool” Yeah, now that I look at the list I see what you mean πŸ™‚
