“Gidget” was a character in a series of movies from the ’50s that I love love LOVED when I was a little girl. She got the name because it’s a combination of “girl” and midget.”
And not only am I a girl, but I’m under five feet tall and love anything retro, so it was perfect!
I add the extra ‘t’ because the normal spelling is usually taken.

The hubby and I always call ourselves 2 peas in a pod. I’m green pea #1, and he’s green pea #2 (GP1 and GP2 for short). We’re pathetic losers, but I love it anyway :o)

Mine’s a combo of FI’s name and mine. Kinda like Brangelina. I didn’t come up with it but it’s easy to remember & type. Some of our friends call us that as a couple. 905’s for our wedding date. I lurked before I signed up & I used to see everyone’s date to the right of their name. I didn’t know it wasn’t a part of my username. Duh! 🙁
I’d change it if I could. It’s kinda cheezy.

My fiance is called Ox or The Ox by most of his friends (a play on his last name) so I have been dubbed Lady Ox, hence my weddingbee name!

Vitsippa (Anemone nemorosa) is a little white flower that completely covers the forests in the spring. It’s actually what I named my laptop since it’s white, but I couldn’t think of a name when I joined and I wanted to use something I never used before.

FI’s last name is Bird… so I’m a Bird to be! (I actually think that my first name + his last name sounds so incredibly awkward. Not everything goes well with “bird.” I joke about naming our future kids Burt, or Blue.)

Mine is AZinAugust because people always ask why Arizona in August. Neither of us is originally from Arizona, and they’re all scared of the 115 degree heat in Phoenix.
Thankfully we’ll be getting hitched in Sedona- where it’s WAY cooler.

@His Barista: How cool! Lee is a pretty common name! I love it because it’s so easy! 🙂
I loved reading all of the responses! It’s neat to see how everyone got their “nickname”

My FH and I call each other “Moo” as a pet name. And I loved the Mr Men, Little Miss books as a child. So, Little Miss Moo.

I had just purchased my wedding shoes when I joined here. They’re blue, and I have 2 of them. lol. I was obviously feeling really creative that day 😉
