Ahh to even have a 10K wedding. Ours is as low as we can get it, not going over about 4000. Luckily my parents are paying for my dress, my FI’s parents are paying for the venue and I have some family to do the videographer/photographer/DJ jobs. Lots of DIY and internet searches! It’s not the dream wedding, but in the end if I’m married to my Fiance, I’ll be happy.

Originally, our wedding was going to be around $7k, but, we decided we wanted our dream wedding, and we aren’t going to go without. Including the erings, rings & honeymoon, it’s going to cost around 22k. [That’s a figurative number, as everything has not been purchased yet]. It may be somewhat cheaper if we can find good deals on the items we are purchasing.

Good thing it’s 10/31/14.. we have plenty of time!

We’re aiming for $5000. We were planning on paying for everything, but my parents are helping, and they are willing to do about the same. We just want a simple wedding with cake and sparkling wine, so we may come in under budget. Right now my dress and Maid/Matron of Honor dress (sister) plus dress preservation for my dress and my moms came to $1,140. Venue should be between $2500 and  $3500, including booze and cake, and a few hundred for men’s clothing, flowers (diy real), a veil and a new bra. Might splurge for a string quartet. $8000 is our max budget but we’re aiming for $5000. (New Mexico USA)

The budget for our wedding is 5k. We are having a garden ceremony in Las Vegas, then we are taking our friends and family to have dinner. Unsure what we will do after that. Understandably we won’t have help from anyone. We will make the best with what we have, I know it will all come together beautifully.

My fiances parents gave us $12 000 because that’s how much their parents gave them.

And my parents are giving us $5 000.

But we are budgeting to keep it under $10 000. We also let our parents invite extra people that we didn’t plan on inviting, only if they paid for their attendance. So my grandparents invited 40 more people and my in laws invited 20. We invited a total of 205 people.

We’re having a weekend wedding in CA for about 50 people, only lodging 25 or so of them and our budget is around 50k including honeymoon and rings.  We are paying ourselves.

If you want something fabulous and grand. Make it $10,000 to $15,000 This will cover everything. With this budget, surely your wedding is like a fairytale. Full of elegant and romantic decors and everything that weddingmust have. 🙂

Originally I wanted to keep the wedding to $5000 or under, but with 100 guests that just didn’t happen. Including the venue fee, which my Future Mother-In-Law is paying for, our budget will probably be around $10000. It’s way more than I wanted to spend but I couldn’t bring myself to compromise on the guest list. I have a large and close family and couldn’t imagine any of them not being there.

I’m not planning an extravagant affair. Just barbeque in a museum with beer and wine, a DJ, and a photographer.

Ours is between 12 to 18 k at the moment. We are paying for most of it ourselves so we are trying to keep the cost on the lower end of that scale.

Ours is about $20-25k though my FI’s parents are covering the reception, the rehearsal dinner, and also hosting a couples shower for us. I think ours would have been a lot higher had we decided to get married in Northern VA instead of Buffalo. Getting married in western NY is keeping our costs significantly down. 🙂 We are also covering our own honeymoon but it won’t be until 6-12 months after we are married.
