We set our deadline to RSVP as July 31. So far we’ve heard back from about 85 guests out of 120 that were invited. With 60 people coming, our acceptance rate is at 71% and I’m liking that. If that rate holds up, we’ll have a good sized group of people but not overdo it in terms of cost.
What is/was your RSVP deadline and are you happy with how many guests you have? Anyone else still trying to track down RSVPs for a wedding that is fast-approaching?

Our deadline was also 7/31. We invited around 122 and have 101 coming. I’ve been really surprised by this part – we only have 9 invites to chase down. Most of those folks live far enough away that we feel pretty safe in assuming that they aren’t coming (they’d likely have to fly).
We’ve had more RSVPs than we were expecting – only a tiny portion of our guests live within a 90 min. drive of our venue. More than half live 12+ hours away. We figured we’d have about 75-80 people. So now we are revising numbers with the caterer and refiguring the number of tables we’ll need with the venue.

We are having a semi-destination wedding so we expected 35-40% decline. Ended up with 49% decline with about ten more invites to track down, most of which i think will be no’s mainly due to travel and money issues. We were amazed at how many we had to track down after rsvp deadline. Found out a few got lost in the mail.

We invited 65 and have 37 attending so we have a 57% acceptance rate. About half of our guest list would have to spend a few hours on a plane to get to us so we expected around 65% and ended up with a few surprises on both sides but it still evened out alright.
I really love how intimate our wedding is going to be, there are going to be 31 adult guests, so we will easily have time to visit with every one 🙂

We invited 62 people with a deadline of 31/07.
53 adults have accepted
4 children have accepted (or their parents did)
2 have declined due to prior commitments
3 have yet to respond
I guess I’ll be chasing those up.

Oh God! I wish my decline rate was bigger! My people count is pushing 135 for all accepted rsvp’s so far, with only 5 couples declining.

We invited a lot of people expecting some declines, nope! We had a 230 person wedding very few said no 😉

We invited 100 all day guests and 86 are attending, so 86%. Although that is a high acceptance rate I was originally expecting higher.
Fiance is relieved as he didn’t want a big wedding anyway (100 guests where we are from is a big wedding)

Wow, and I thought 100 would be a lot! haha That will be a big party!

Yeah unfortunately we had to change the venue. Same hotel, but different room so that it could hold everyone. it was a bummer. I mean, it’s great that everyone came 😉 but we definitely didn’t expect this many Yes responses 😉

I just sent out our invites last week. I am truthfully hoping we have a bit of people decline. Our guest list is a little over 300 people. Our reception venue holds on 250 people. Crossing my fingers.

We invited 135 people and only got declines from 2 couples even though more than half the guests are from out of state/country.
