We are doing a light theme of 1920’s/Boardwalk Empire.  We are incorporating wine bottles, and beer barrels in centerpieces and card holder. Our cake will be an Art Deco design, and our venue looks very similar to a place they always go on BE. 🙂

We have a loose fall theme.  Our invitations are brown, cream and red, with a leaf motif, we will have white pumpkins and leaves on the tables, are using fall colours for bridesmaid dresses, napkins on the table, etc, and are giving homemade jam as our favors.  We are also doing non-theme elements such as a mail-box card-box and ski lift-ticket escort cards (because we love skiing).

It’s not really a theme but we’re getting married on the beach so it pretty much directed our decorating.  Our color scheme is turquoise and lime.  We’re doing orange roses so they pop.  We did kind of theme the invitations and centerpieces by using starfish on them but I don’t plan to “theme” anything else.

@MrsN14:  We ski between 40-50 times per year, which in the east is alot. My Fiance calls me his ski panther (unlike the familiar ski bunny).

“South Florida Trailor Park Chic” seems to about cover it.

No, I’m not kidding.

I have a loose theme : The Beatles. We are incorperating a lot of Beatles songs into the night, “All you need is love” cake topper, Cassette tape escort cards, daisies (kinda 60s for flowers?), beatles table names and such.

My theme is vintage elegance meets fall.  Not rustic fall though, there will be white pumpkins and gourds as centerpieces and lots of lace.  My colors are charcoal, orange, and ivory.

We are having a loose Happily Ever After/Dreams Come True theme. We got engaged in Disney so this theme somehow followed us into our wedding lol

Each table number will also have a movie/book/famous couple that are thought to be great love stories, I have a few signs (Happily Ever After Starts Here, & They Lived Happily Ever After sign for the thank yous), then I have some banners to hang on our balcony, the fireplace in the room. The flowers are going to have this enchanted garden type feel…that’s really as far as it goes though. No Mickeys or Minnies will be in the room.

Honestly, having a theme made the whole thing come together much easier!
