I am looking for some ideas and pictures. I would like to use wheat (barley, or some other grain) in our centerpieces. Thinking mason jars with grain, wheat sheaves and maybe some grasses or flowers or something to add some color. Just looking for some other ideas and pictures to help visualize and make it all come together. Any other ideas that incorporate this idea/theme into wedding would also be much appreciated. Also, can’t look too fallish as wedding is at the beginning of august.

Ya know, it was just yesterday that I was thinking of how I could use wheat in my bouquet…. We’re having a fall wedding and Im trying to use as few flowers as possible and instead use more fall type stuff.
Are you on Pintrest? I think wheat would be great for your rustic wedding! What are hay bales places around or outside your venue too

I had wheat centerpieces for my shower because our Sept 1st reception was in a 18th century grain mill!
I actually used one of the bunches in the centerpieces for the wedding – taking individual pieces out and incorporated them into the flower arrangements. Both were lovely!
I’m selling the remaining centerpieces here: http://newjersey.craigslist.org/hsh/3366099403.html
