Since me and My fiance cant afford going on a honey moon as soon as we get married, I decided ( and I let him in on the plan of course hahaha ) that we will have this little jar with our honeymoon destination and wed save up whatever we can- Like few cents, extra dollars, etc – and try to make up the money within a 5 year range to go. our destination place is.. BORA BORA!!!
ah im excited haha, I hope it goes through though cuz Id love to lay on my own private deck and enjoy the sun.
Where is your honeymoon gonna be!

I think that’s a great idea! That’s exactly how Fiance and I save for all of our trips, and we’re doing the same thing for our honeymoon… which will be in London for the Olympics!

That sounds like a great idea! I wanted to go to Tahiti and Bora Bora for our honeymoon, but it’s just too expensive for us right now. Maybe we should do what you’re doing! I was going to do that to save money for some baseball games…but I never got around to it. I should start now. I have a baseball piggy bank and everything! lol
Anyways, we’re going to Banff! SOOOO excited!!!

We are waiting until February to go on our honeymoon. We will be taking a 7 day cruise and than 10 days in Orlando and Daytona. I am not very good with heat, so for me to go some where in the Caribbean in the summer dosen’t make sense. And, by February in Western NY you are sick and tired of the snow and cold so it’s a good time to get away.

I am leaving the morning after the reception (well at 3 AM so no sleeping for us!) we are going to Jamaica – Couples Swept Away in Negril for 7 days

Bora Bora was my first choice but I can’t take that much time off of work right after our wedding. I figure I need 2+ weeks for that because of the travel time. That is still on the list though for a future trip. It is just so beautiful there!
For our honeymoon we are leaving on the Monday after our Saturday night wedding for 8 days in Costa Rica!

We are going 2 days after the wedding. We’re returning to Paris because he proposed there, then to Venice, Florence and Rome. Total 15 days.

We’re leaving three days after our wedding (although we’re having a minimoon for a couple of those days) to go to Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand for three and a half weeks. I’m so excited. We’re starting off by flying to Singapore via Dubai to stay in the five star Shangri-La hotel:
We’re then going to Kuala Lumpur and making a pilgrimage to Sepang Formula One Circuit (we’re MAJOR F1 fans) before heading to Langkawi or Penang (we’re travelling independently so we can decide closer to the time):
Then we’re taking the boat across the border to Thailand arriving in Koh Lipe:
Then we’re heading to Hua Hin for a week at the Six Senses Hideaway (one of the top spa hotels in Asia):
We’re staying in one of those pool villas with a private spa treatment area, swimming pool, outdoor dining room and outdoor two-person bath set into a lily pond.
Then finally we’re going to stay in the Royal Orchid Sheraton hotel in Bangkok for two nights and explore the city:
We’re flying with Emirates (I wasn’t willing to compromise on that) and hoping to buy an upgrade closer to the time, or at the airport.
