I’ve been looking, but I won’t purchase until 9 months out.

Since momma Ocean lives in Florida and I live in Rhode Island, I am planning on Thanksgiving weekend when she is up here for the holiday.  I’m also afraid that if I buy now, I’ll see something later that I like better.  That would be AWFUL!!!

I’ve been to 3 places so far and tried on about 25 dresses….I’ve narrowed it down to 2 Marisa gowns and now I’m pretty sure I’ve chose “the one” I’m taking my time though!

I want to lose some more wait but I have found the dress of my dreams. I just want to be the right size, so I don’t want to pay too much for alterations.

I’m not a September bride, but a “last week of August 2012” bride so I figured it was close enough!

I already bought my dress about a month and a half ago Tongue out

I’m going to try to hold off until January or February to actually buy– maybe even later than that, because I’m likely to buy used/consignment/off the rack (thus no order/wait time). Although I’m a pretty decisive person, I don’t want to give myself toooo much time to second-guess. Might go try some things on earlier, though, just to get a sense of what I actually like on me.

I’m holding off as long as possible because I just gained a huge chunk of weight I’m trying to lose.

I ordered my dress three weeks ago. I don’t get to spend much time with my mom, so we made sure to get down to business this summer. I only went to three places: David’s Bridal, the store where my mom got her dress, and a big store in Atlanta.

My mom’s store had close contenders (Allure, Bliss by Monique Lhuillier, Marisa), but we looked into a store in Atlanta, too. I ended up having a hard choice between two dresses by the same designer which both looked stunning (sry for no hints in case Fiance is glancing at this post)!

I’m crossing my fingers that it will come in ahead of schedule. They said to allow for 6 months… but pick-up would be so much easier if it arrived earlier!

I bought my dress in June! It should be here late September/early October and I’ll have to store it for almost a year… without trying it on everyday, eek!

It was very important to me to include my Future Mother-In-Law in dress shopping as we are close, so when she came for a visit, I rounded everyone up and off we went. It was a super special day as I had my girls, my Future Mother-In-Law, my mother and my grandmother with me.

I have gone to two shops and tried on about a dozen dresses, but I need to slow down and keep looking. I haven’t found “the one” yet…. =)

Uh, what did I say like a week ago? Apparently my mom and I are going to go put some dresses on me this afternoon. I swear I’m not getting a dress today, though!
