This may be a silly question but for weekend activities, when exactly are you suppose to host them. Or are they just for the guests, so they have something to do during the weekend.
I was thinking of apple picking the day after the wedding or would that be too much for guests, I’m sure most will be going home the next day(Sunday) since most would have to work the next day. Or are these activities suppose to be the day before(friday) but wouldn’t you have the rehearsal dinner at that time.

@ItsDestiny: We had a sunday wedding on a long weekend, and organized 2 events for our guests – Saturday football gamewatch and Monday morning breakfast to see our guests off. So, we only organized events for when we were available. I’m not sure you need to do events if you are busy with the rehearsal dinner and such.
Unless you could find someone you trust who isn’t in your wedding party who would be willing to host an organized activity for your guests, I’m not sure Friday sounds like it will work. Maybe you can just provide a list of “things to do” in the area where your guests are staying?

I really think that weekend activities are for close family or for out of town guests (or destination weddings).
We are doing the rehersal and rehersal dinner on Friday, wedding on Saturday with an after-party late at night, and then a brunch on Sunday morning. Anything else would be too overwhelming. I really doubt that anyone other than our immediate family and some out of town guests will show to our brunch on Sunday morning.
