I ask because I find that during the week it is SO hard for me to focus on anything else other than when is he going to get things rolling already!! But for some reason on weekends I don’t give it a second thought and feel so free. I think it’s because we tend to see each other more on weekends so I feel better, as opposed to during the week when we are apart.
Do you see a pattern at all in your hard/easy waiting days? I’m curious what other bees are experiencing!

Yeah, that sounds like me, too. Almost all of last week, I had knots in my stomach, but come Friday night, and all through the weekend, my tummy was fine. Read: I was chill about waiting. This morning though, the knots and flippity-floppityness is back. So, yeah, the weekdays are harder, the weekends are better. Wonder why? Anyone have thoughts to why this is?

@Wonderwoman217: That’s exactly how I felt this morning! You would think that the weekdays would be better since we’re busy with work, but it’s the exact opposite. I really would like to know what that is as well!

For me it’s almost always related to external things. Like other people getting engaged, weddings, babies. Anything that reminds me I’m still waiting around for him and our future together. :

For me, I’ve noticed it’s not even so much a certain day really… it’s just when I’m alone. When I’m with my SO, I just enjoy myself. Those time I’m alone, I am able to distract myself a bit, but more often than not, my mind goes back to daydreaming lol.
My SO actually pointed out another time when the issue really gets to me… and that’s during ‘that time of the month.’ He said he’s noticed in the past when I would bring it up, it would be like, the week before that arrives. As soon as he had said that, I realized it’s totally true! I guess I’m just more sensitive around that time and it gets to me more.
I also agree with what Taylor4 said, external things affect me at times, too.

@Taylor4: I second that! (:
I also find that I don’t think about it as much during the week because I’m busy with school work and classes.
