No I never do… it feels like a waste of trees.  Undecided

Also, on our registry, we have opted to not give guests the option to “gift wrap”… it’s much more environmentally friendly IMO.

I guess it depends who I am sending it to a little bit, but it seems more official to receive a wrapped gift!

No, I think it’s much more environmentally friendly to skip the gift wrap.

If you ordered it online, it’s a waste…they’ll know by the box that you ordered it online and won’t care… If you bought it and are mailing a box inside a box anyway, then why not if you are a bow and paper color coordinator like I am! (But I mostly use gift bags and bows so they can be reused)

I usually do, but I also almost never buy gifts and have them sent directly to someone. Every gift we got from our registry that was sent to the house was gift wrapped. Pottery Barn does a nice job. 🙂

I used to, but since receiving a bunch of wedding gifts through the mail that guests purchased online, I really don’t see the point anymore.  After ripping through the packing tape and digging through the styrofoam popcorn, the last thing I want to do now is unwrap more paper.  But maybe I am just jaded after my bridal shower (opening gifts as a spectator sport is hard work, yo!) 😉

At Macy’s they let you choose whether to offer the option of gift-wrapping for your guests.  I chose the “green” option.  There’s a little note about the couple preferring no gift-wrapping upon ordering.  I really like that they do this!!

Gift wrap is so saddening to me. Why waste trees to cover store-bought gifts when a tree is a gift all on its own?

I chose “other” because it depends on the price.  If it is free, then whynot?  If it is like 7 bucks…pshhh…no.
