vancin86 :  That is fine. I simply replied to someones question. I made no negative mean comments.

I had heavy implantation bleeding with my first (like 3 days of “light” bleeding that was similar to my periods on BCP) that I mistook for my period.  However, I believe it started about 9 days after ovulation.  If it was implantation bleeding you probably O’d 11/5 and got pregnant around 11/20.  Or could be that you O’d super early and then implanted super early as someone else said.  Only way to tell will be to have an ultrasound to get measurements.  Speculation won’t really matter until then, the ultrasound should be you a clear answer (or two ultrasounds to records the growth if there is no heartbeat yet).

vancin86 :  ladyjane is actually a very kind, helpful bee. She was just answering someone else’s question, though I understand your annoyance here.

I wish you all the best. I agree that it’s likely the 25th – good luck and please do update us after your appointment!

I would strongly encourage you to push for HCG blood draws. I had your exact situation almost two years ago that didn’t end well. I had a negative FRER at 12DPO, very normal period the next day that lasted its normal 4-5 days, tested a strong positive almost two weeks later. I had an HCG blood draw that day with follow up 48 hours later. The first HCG draw confirmed pregnancy but the 2nd showed the numbers already dropping. The home test (which are the same as what your doctor gave you) stayed strong for almost a week before fading back to negative. My doctor said that implantation most likely happened late and my hormones had already started dropping before it fully implanted giving no hormones to maintain my endromitrial lining and eventually to not support the pregnancy. The only way to really know right now though is do to the two HCG blood draws. I hope this is not the case for you but the situations are nearly identical so wanted to at least give you the heads up. It’s been a very long road for me with miscarriages.
