How far along were you (with your first child) when you felt people could finally tell you’re pregnant just by looking at you?
I’m currently almost 22 weeks and I feel like in the last 2 weeks alone I’ve gone from no one really being able to tell, even if they knew I was pregnant, to having a very noticeable bump that is impossible to hide. No matter how loose my clothes are, the bump is out there! Not that I want to hide it at all. I’m just surprised/taken aback by how quickly my belly has grown recently.
When did you feel this happened for you?

From 20 to 25 weeks my bump went from nonexistent to you know I’m pregnant lol.

Yes! That is exactly what I’m going through right now! 🙂

About the same. I didn’t get random comments from strangers until closer to 30 weeks though but it was winter in Chicago so jackets hid the bump.

I’m at 23 weeks and I still feel subconscious that strangers might think I’m just bloated, lol! I suppose most people know better than to assume/ask, unless it’s really obvious…I don’t feel like I’m quite at that point yet.

First pregnancy you couldn’t tell until 28 weeks! Second pregnancy more like 14 weeks 😂. Big difference!

No stranger has actually asked yet. But I can see their eyes go immediately to my bump and their face is like “oh!”

people who knew me noticed it by 10 weeks (thankfully it was the holidays so I told nosey coworkers that it was just a Christmas cookie bump). Strangers were confident enough to ask me about my pregnancy around week 25.

I think with my first once I was 26 weeks it was undeniable. Usually I just go with the yep I’m pregnant kind of response. With my second I was more like yes I’m pregnant
, whatever kind of response. It got old with my second.

I’m 13 weeks and I had a bump really early on. From about the time I found out I was pregnant I couldn’t wear pants that had zippers and from about week 9 I’m wearing maternity jeans (the most comfortable thing ever invented!).
Close friends could tell really early on – from about week 8. My yoga instructor told me the bump suits me week 7/8.
I did feel a bit better when we went to this maternity store – I read on FB they were having a promotion that any pregnant woman can get membership there for free, she just needs to go in the store with her baby bump. So we went in with the husband and the sales ladies were a bit doubtful as they looked at me – and asked if I was pregnant – so I did the whole “yeah, rubbing my belly” thing lol. And got my membership card.

People noticed my baby bump at 20 weeks !

Probably ~21-22 weeks in tight clothing and I could hide it with looser shirts/loose cardigans until 26-27 weeks with my first. Between 15-20 weeks just looked like I put on some lbs so while someone I was close with could probably see that part no stranger would comment on it.

I was so in denial about my bump for some reason. I had this fear that I just looked fat and that noone could tell I was pregnant. I remember I was like 30+ weeks and someone commented on my bump and I was like, woah she can tell I’m pregnant! Looking back it was so obvious, my bump was huge.
To answer your question, my bump really seemed to jump around 20ish weeks. That being said I was clearly showing at 14 weeks.

Yes that is totally my fear too! I ask my husband nearly every day if he thinks I look fat or pregnant. And then he looks at me like I have two heads ;P I think that’s one of the reasons I started wearing maternity clothes earlier than necessary. I’m sure I could’ve gotten away without them for a bit longer but I wanted it to be obvious I was pregnant and not just fat.

I’m 13 weeks and have been rocking maternity pants since about…9/10 weeks? And living in flowy stuff at work since about the same time. I finally told my coworkers yesterday because I got called out by a janitor on Monday! So, I’d say I definitely have a bit of a bump already!
I will say, while this is baby #1, it is pregnancy #2; my first ended at 11 weeks, so I had almost hit the 2nd trimester and I don’t think my pooch really shrunk between April and June, so it just kind of built on itself… Yay.
