1 day before our 1 year anniversary. We had been in a car accident so he was all sorts of concussed laying on a hospital bed and he let it slip. I think both of us were too scared to say it but he let it go without realizing. Haha.

We had known each other for a year, and said I love you the second after we first kissed. πŸ™‚

Well, I guess mine is kind of complicated. We were friends with benefits for about 2 years, but I wanted more. I told him I loved him after we’d been “benefitting” for about 6 months. He didn’t say it back; just said he wasn’t ready for a relationship at that point. FF a year and a half, and he was over one night, and just said it, followed by “I can’t live without you.” He proposed the next week. So, while we really weren’t “officially” a couple, I guess in retrospect we really were.

Four to five months into the relationship while we were watching “The Exorcist”

He told me he loved me 13 days after our first date, 6 days after we became “official”. I (very uncharacteristically) said it right back. 4 and a half years later, we are still very happy πŸ™‚

I told DBF that I thought I was falling in love with him within a week of becoming a couple. However, we already had known each other very well for a month prior, so it wasn’t exactly said in haste. πŸ™‚

About 4 months in, it was Halloween, and liquid courage may have helped… about 2 months later, I knew he was the man for me who would spend the rest of my life with.

We met online and became good friends quickly. It wasnt long after that, that we started having feelings for each other and told each other we loved each other around April. We had exchanged emails in February and met online in January. I cant believe weve known each other almost a year! πŸ™‚

After a month. We began dating in November and at the beginning of December he got sent away for a few weeks due to being in the Marine Corps. I’m pretty sure I was in love with him by the time he left, not that I would’ve admitted it to myself, let alone him. So, obviously, I waited for him like the loyal proud Marine girlfriend I was πŸ™‚ while he was away we texted back and forth, exchanging the usual ‘I miss you’, ‘I can’t wait to see you again’, etc. It wasn’t uncommon for me to fall asleep texting him. A week and a half of him being gone (right around a month of dating) I fell asleep right after telling him I missed him. I woke up around 4 am and checked my phone..I had a text from him and it just said simply ‘I love you’. I texted him back that I loved him too. I wanted to call him, but knew he’d be sleeping and busy the rest of the day. Five months later we got engaged and that was that πŸ™‚

He told me he loved me a month after we became official. We had been seeing each other for about 3 months before we became a couple. I had started feeling like I might be in love with him before we were even official, but didn’t want to scare him off by saying it. So I was very happy when he said it first and I got to say it back to him.

It was about 1.5 months in after we went to a wedding for his college friend together. We were cuddling after a night of late night drinking games and he started this huge speech about how he didn’t know if it was too soon and didn’t want to run me off, and that stuff and he kept going and going. Eventually, I cut him off and said it first.

When he proposed, he said “I am not letting you beat me to it this time,” and dropped down to one knee.

Being totally honest, it was a week into dating.  He said it first and I said it back.  Did I love him? Yep.  Was I IN love with him? Not yet.

Now that I look back on it and think about it, it sounds really early.  Well – it WAS really early.  But at the same time, it felt right and that’s what we both went by.  We’ve been together three years now, engaged since April and getting married in a year and a half πŸ™‚

    10 months in

Edit: it was 11 months in, come to think about it. I probably felt it after 6 months. I definitely felt insecure about how long it took before, but after the fact, my perspective is love is love in the end.

2 weeks, one night we were laying on the couch and turns out we both were thinking it but too scared to say it. I ended up texting him it once I got home and he said it back. The next night he said it to me after walking me out to my car πŸ™‚
