We designed both bands together. They were made as a custom set at the same time. Since we didn’t do the traditional engagement, I’ll just wear then together once we’re married and will never actually have worn the engagement ring (I’m calling it my wedding band #2) on its own.

We designed our bands together. I was indecisive for the longest time and my prior threads on the bee can attest to that. My SO on the other hand had designed his band in his head years ago. So we started the process months before the wedding and laid the groundwork for the bands with the jeweler. I changed my mind a thousand times (ok only twice) and in the end I went with the first type of ring I had envisioned. 2 months before we picked up the finished rings. Once we were married I stopped fretting about the ring and just love that it’s the one he placed on my finger. As cliche as that may sound. Overall we enjoyed the process of designing rings together.

he found out as we were ring shopping and wondered why so many came with 2 rings. My wedding band, even though it’s pave half-eternity cost about half of what his fairly plain white gold band cost. Part of the reason we did it as my birthday gift is we were getting married in May, my birthday is in March and we didn’t have wedding bands yet. DH didnt’ want to go ring shopping and it was driving me nuts that something so simple wasn’t done yet so I told him to make it my birthday present, that way it was done, he didn’t spend a bunch of money buying me things we didn’t need.

My Engagement Ring and wedding band came in a set. The band is plain solid white gold, which is what I wanted.

We picked the e-ring out together and there was a matching band for it. We haven’t ordered it yet, but we will in a few months. We’ll get his at the same time.

my ring is a plain 4 prong white gold solitaire which gave us a blank canvas. we ordered my wedding band along with his band and he let me choose it. so many options!

My e ring is custom so we picked out a band together a few months ago (it’s back today from being sized!). I bought him an engagement ring a few months after we got engaged that he picked out and hes going to wear it as a right hand ring and as his wedding band he will wear his fathers wedding band.

We picked together. We were both ok if the other wanted non-matching bands, but we actually both preferred matching ones! So compatible :).

I went myself to get the band. I got it custum curved to my 3stone halo. I got it over a year before the wedding

I looked for engagement rings without DH and when my search came up inconclusive we went together. As for the wedding band I picked and designed it mmyself four months after we got engaged so we could elope.
