We didn’t completely finish our until about 2 weeks before my due date. We moved 3 weeks before I was due so we really couldn’t finish it until then. We had everything purchased and ready to go, it was just a matter of getting it in the right place.

However, our neighbor is expecting and they just bought and set up their crib earlier this week. She is less than 20 weeks as of now! I think it just all depends on the couple and is more of a personal preference…no right or wrong why of doing things.

I was 34 weeks pregnant and up on a ladder sponge painting clouds and stars on the ceiling. I didn’t finish washing and folding the baby clothes until a few nights before we went to the hospital.

I didn’t finish it until 2 weeks after my son was born.  It was functional by 37 weeks but not complete until later.

I don’t think we’ll be officially finished until after she’s here. I’m 38 weeks now, and we still need to put her closet doors on, hang curtains, and set up the crib (which we won’t do until she’s here due to Jewish superstition, but she’ll sleep in a bassinet at first anyway).

Unfortunately we have other things that are priorities b/c we just moved into a new house so we have to get it all fixed up and ready. Our next big thing will be to clean out the garage so we can fit a car in there… since it’s summer in Florida I have a feeling we’ll be driving home from the hospital in the pouring rain and I’d like a garage. I don’t think she’ll care if she doesn’t have closet doors right away though 🙂

We did a big remodel on the bathroom and nursery, so we didn’t even start the regular nursery stuff until I was in my thrid trimester.  Then, the artist who was painting our mural went into pre-term labor and had to be on bed rest in the hospital for the rest of her pregnancy, so everything wasn’t completely finished until Addie was about 4 months old.

A couple weeks post-baby, I think. We were going to try to finish things up, at least mostly, the last weekend before my due date, but then DS came 10 days early.

We finished at 35 weeks and I was freaking out because it was so close. She slept next to our bed in her cradle the first two months so I don’t know why I was rushing so much. LOL.

We were living with my FIL’s until I was about 36 weeks pregnant because of a total remodel of our home.  Stressful to say the least! But luckily we got it done and moved in with about 2 weeks to spare.  So I was almost 38 weeks when I finished the nursery.

30 weeks and there’s a lot of stuff on our registry that we need in order for the room to be “done”.  Plus we have a crib, no mattress.  I don’t think we’ll have everything up or done any earlier than 36-37 weeks.  I just don’t see the point of having a room completely done and just sitting there.

I also haven’t washed any clothes.  Again, don’t see the point of them just sitting in a drawer.

wellll Im 38 weeks and we just hung the video monitor last night and are installing the angelcare tonight.  We ordered more shelving but it was the wrong size, so that gets exchanged and installed this weekend. So I guess we’ll be finished at 38.5 weeks lol
