I’m 15 weeks 5 days into my first pregnancy, and I’m so impatient to feel the baby move. I know it’s totally normal to not start feeling movements until 20 weeks (or even a bit later), but I’m just curious what everyone has experienced.

I felt flutters about 16 weeks

I felt some flutters around 17 weeks but wasn’t sure it was the baby. I had doubts and thought it just may be a rumbling stomach. I was more convinced around 20 weeks.

About 16 weeks I recognized that the flutters were baby and not just stomach rumbles. i was 19+5 when I first felt the kicks from the outside of my stomach with my hand.

I’m pregnant with #2 and I swear I felt something at 14 weeks but I couldn’t be sure. I’m now almost 18 weeks and feeling little gas bubble feelings almost every day so I’m pretty sure it’s baby now. When I was pregnant with #1 I didn’t feel him until 20 weeks but I knew instantly it was him.

Just 1 day shy of 26 weeks for me! But I’m sure that’s more than average, you’ll probably feel something before then.
I remember it was a Thursday and I told my (now) husband I felt something weird, like bubbles, on my right side. He still sometimes jokes about “bubbles” and our little girl is 18 months old now.

i don’t remember exactly but if I had to guess i would say I felt flutters prettu early – 15 or 16 weeks.

LLEU: The very first time I felt the baby was at 18w in the middle of the night and it felt like subtle bubbles. At exactly 20w1d I started feeling full on movements and the week after at 21w full on kicks which my Darling Husband was able to feel from the outside. It’s incredible how quickly and strong it progresses. I’m currently 28w and now I feel the baby move from one side to the other, feeling actual body parts … feels like an internal wave it’s so crazy. Give it another few more weeks and you’ll start to feel your little peanut!

I didn’t realize I was feeling the baby until week 19, but I was probably feeling him well before that and assumed it was digestion or gas bubbles.

18 weeks on the dot, I felt kicks. No flutters or bubbles here.

I skipped flutters and went straight to kicks at 18 weeks.. same as kes18:
Also, this is my first… apparently it makes a difference.. my sister is pregnant with her second and she started feeling stuff at 14 weeks

I felt her for the first time on the day I became 5 months in. I was in the car with my mom and it stopped me mid sentence. Honestly I thought it was bad gas and put my hand on my stomach and she did it again. BEST feeling ever! As another poster said, I could have been feeling her before that but just chucked it up to gas lol.

i felt flutters around 12wks, then saw and felt actual movement in my belly around wk 18. My placenta is posterior so the dr said typically we feel movement alot earlier
