17w was the flutters/feathers in my stomach feeling, and all I had was that until 23-24w and she started kicking one day just out of the blue. I have an anterior placenta as well so typically they say you might not feel anything until later then “normal” in the pregnancy because its all padded.

Just a day shy of 19 wks and I’m starting to feel the baby move. At first I thought it was just gas bubbles or digestion doing its thing but starting a few days ago I’m starting to really feel the baby. Sometimes it feels like popcorn popping and sometimes it feels like tiny waves. Poor husband, I’ve been trying to get him to feel it but it’s not that apparent from the outside just yet.

I’m 17 weeks and still waiting to feel flutters. I have a posterior placenta.

I went from nothing at all to definite kicks that I could see and feel from the outside (albeit pretty intermittent, only a few times a day) at just past 16 weeks. Darling Husband managed to feel a couple of them for the first time at 17w6d – he’d been trying to catch them for the past 2 weeks. Im usually pear shaped when not pregnant and don’t carry much fat on my stomach so I think that’s why I can feel the kicks from outside so early.

newbabybee: I felt my first flutters (felt like popcorn popping in my belly) at around 13/14 weeks and my first kicks at 17 weeks! 🙂

I had an anterior placenta with my first, so it wasn’t until well after 20 weeks. I don’t remember exactly! Now that I have a posterior placenta and know what to feel for, I am on high alert for it any time now (14w tomorrow).

I felt the first flutters at 15 weeks (ish) but didn’t know what it was. Then just past 16 weeks I felt definite pronounced kicks! I also have an anterior placenta which is supposed to cushion movements so you feel it later, but I’d lost so much weight during the first trimester that I felt him really early on! It wasn’t every day though. Like I’d go 2-3 days between feeling movements.

Both dDH and I felt kicking around 14 weeks. Baby really picked up at 16 weeks, and now he won’t stop. With how strong he seems to be, I wouldn’t be surprised if he came out walking hahah

newbabybee: It was about 18 weeks before I felt her. I may have felt her a week before then but I’m not sure if it was gas or flutters.

17.5 weeks I felt the first little flutter! I definitely felt her move but because of the placenta location I didn’t feel a ton of movement.

I felt rolling movement at 16w6d. I felt kicks that were more like thumps at 20 weeks. My husband still can’t feel anything.

newbabybee: I felt things I was unsure of around 14 weeks, but I had no doubt it was the baby by 16 weeks 🙂
