I’m 9 weeks and have a little bump Darling Husband and I can see. It’s not noticeable when I’m dressed (I’m overweight so my middle just looks a little thicker than usual.
Just curious, and I’m sure everyone will be a little different, but when did you have a bump others could see?

I said 14 weeks because that is when people at work started saying something about it but my hubby and family and close friends could tell before that. Maybe at 10-11 weeks my mom kept commenting.

I like polls! And I’ve never given birth…probably TTC in a year or so…so couldn’t tell you but I’m curious to see!

Oh and getting thicker is definitely the first part, before you pop out from. I remember that well.

I was out shopping at 14 weeks and that was the first time strangers commented on the pregnancy/asked when I was due.
It was noticable to my husband and close family at around 10 weeks.
I am short-waisted, so there was nowhere for baby to go but out!

I wear scrubs at work, so nobody can tell yet. If I wore a really fitted t-shirt and my regular jeans with a hair tie through the button hole, well then it looks like I ate too much.
I can tell I have a bump, Darling Husband can tell, and my mom can tell. Everyone else says I look the same.
I’ll be 15 weeks tomorrow.

Pretty much everyone said I look the same (maybe a little something) until this week. I think I must have popped though, all of a sudden people can see it. So, I was right at the end of 17 weeks.

@iRun2004: Wow, I know you’re two weeks ahead of me but it seems like it’s going so fast!
@MrsCarnival: Right?!?! I just posted in our baby month board this morning that we spend so much energy ‘wishing time away’… like eager to get AF so you can move on to next cycle, then eager to O, then eager to pass the TWW. Even after the BFP I felt like I was wishing I were farther along to tell people, wishing I were over the first trimester queasiness, wishing I were showing instead of looking bloated… I decided I’m just going to enjoy the here and now. But yes, time is moving so fast now. Ask me again when I end up 2 weeks overdue. I’ll go back to wishing things along more quickly I’m sure 🙂

@DaneLady: I like the idea of “living in the now.” I’d be a liar if I didn’t say I was anxiously awaiting October 18th, since that’s when AF is due, but sometimes I feel like I rush that as well. I’m trying to occupy myself by crocheting endless amounts of cute baby things for friends, but I can’t decide if that’s making it worse or better 😉

@DaneLady: WAY fast. I’m starting to feel like as slacker since I haven’t done much except clean out the nursery. Except then I remember, I’m GROWING LIFE. That must be why I feel like it’s nap time ALL THE TIME.
@MrsCarnival: Will be thinking of you next week lady.

@iRun2004: It takes a LOT of potatoes to grow a baby! We haven’t even cleaned out all the wedding crap from what will eventually be a nursery. Oh wells.

@iRun2004: Thank you 🙂 It’s really hard not to get myself too worked up since we’re technically NTNT, but I’m probably paying closer attention to that than I should…

I voted later than 20w. Those who knew I was pregnant would tell me they notice my bump probably around 16 or 17 weeks, but it wasn’t until 21-22weeks that strangers would congratulate me and talk to me confidently about me being preggo. Before that, my bump could be a baby, or I was just gaining weight around the mid-section!
