Mine will be just under two months before my wedding.

I knew a girl who did hers about 9 months before the wedding because one of the bridesmaids was pregnant and the bride wanted to have it before her friend was too big to travel or couldn’t attend because the baby had been born.

Mine is about a month and a half before my wedding. I think it really just depends on everyone’s schedules and what you’re planning on doing. 9 months is pretty far out, but if that’s the timeline that works best for you and what you want, then I don’t see the issue.

Mine was ~1.5 months before the wedding. We are all local to each other (and the bach city is also local).

If that’s the only time that works for everyone, I think that’s understandable!

Mine was almost exactly 3 months before the wedding because of the same reasons you listed: almost all my bridesmaids lived out of town and that date was what worked best for everyone’s schedules. I do think 9 months is pretty early though.

Mine will be 4 weeks before my wedding. It’s also a destination. I think anymore more than 4 months before would be a bit early.

Since my bridesmaids didn’t live close to me (or one another), we just did a spa morning and lunch date the day before the wedding. I never would have asked them to fly/drive several hours twice, since they were already travelling for the wedding itself.

Mine is May 19th Wedding is June 16th. It was more based on bridesmaid and friend’s availability than anything else.

Mine is going to be one month before my wedding, but all my girls (except one) live in the same city. Because you all would need to travel, do whatever works best.

Mine was about a month before. I think anything before 3 months prior is excessive. 9 months before the wedding, that just seems like way too much. If your girls are fine with it, then do what works.

Mine is in May and the wedding is in July. There are only 2 girls attending that live out of state, so I didn’t want to ask them to travel twice in the same 4 week period. 9 months seems pretty far out, but if that’s the time that works best for you and your crew, then plan it for that time.

trishthedish23 :  That’s a good call then ๐Ÿ™‚ I also just went with what my girls preferred (budget wise). I don’t think that there is any certain time frame it needs to happen in if you are trying to coordinate with everyone’s schedules!
