Yup. We had a sparkler exit. And we lingered for probably until half an hour after that with our guests. We left at the lost possible minute so that we wouldn’t get charged extra for the car service we hired. Neither of us wanted the night to end.

We had to clean up afterwards so we were definitely the last ones to leave…lol.

My new husband and I were some of the last ones out. We left with our parents, who were loading our presents into their cars. 🙂

We stayed until almost the very end, like maybe 20 minutes before the party was over.

Both weddings of friends I have been to in the last couple years they stayed until the end, and I sure plan to at mine!

We stayed until the very end and didn’t have a send off. We did leave a little bit before my mom and sister and some other immediate family, but we had to swing back around when I lost something so we really were the last ones to leave.

We did a send off – which was a lot of fun.  And because of venue restrictions, the end was at 10pm and we were able to do a send-off with almost all of the guests still there (including Grandma!).  And then it was on to the hotel bar for the post-party!! (and let me tell you, walking into a bar in a big fluffy white dress is SO MUCH FUN!!)

The whole event is taking place in our own yard!  We have invited several friends to set up tents/campers/RV’s in the back and expect the party to last far into the morning.  (Thinking perhaps I will have to steal my man away for a few private moments sometime though!)

@lyns86stc:  We stayed until the last song was over, said our goodbyes, and my BMs helped me change into a little white cocktail dress for the after-party.  I was very happy to have a short, relatively inexpensive, easy to wear dress for going out to the bar after the reception.

It ended up being a good thing that we didn’t leave until the very end, b/c two of my BMs ended up stranded since somehow the one girl’s keys ended up in the car of one of the groomsmen, who was already 30 mins away at the after-party.  So our limo ride to the after-party was me, my Darling Husband, and my 2 BMs.  No privacy for me and my hubby until the after-after party!
