I’m not exactly sure when I O’d after my first (natural) MC which happened at 7 weeks but I think it was around day 15-16. I bled for about 7-10 days after the MC and AF showed up 31 days after the MC which is a normal cycle length for me.

It’s been two weeks since my second MC but I had a D&C this time around and I’m still bleeding from it. I’m really hoping it stops soon and that AF comes on time this month! :S

@MrsCarnival:  Hi there.  I’m so, so sorry for your and DH’s loss.  I’m glad to see you’re feeling a little better and seem to be healing.  I just thought I’d offer my two cents about the positive OPKs you said you’ve had today and yesterday.  OPKs will go positive with HCG in your system, so they might be detecting the HCG remaining in your body.  I don’t know if that’s what happening, but I thought I’d throw that out there.  I hope everything goes well at your appointment tonight.

@MrsCarnival:  I’m so sorry for your loss. You’re not alone, so many women on this board in that terrible club. But as others said it does get better and you will be ready to try again.

I had a mc on Sep.25th just at the 6 week mark. I never got another period bc I got KU again rigth away – positive test on Oct.18th. soooo I pretty much ov’d right on schedule 2 weeks later. That pregnancy ended in mc also on Nov.11th. I got AF back on Dec. 23rd and believe I’m due to ovulate next week and we’ll be trying again.

Hope that helps!

Hey lady. The first miscarriage I bled for about a week on and off, and ended up ovulating two weeks after the bleeding began. This time I’m still waiting to miscarry, so we’ll see where this one takes me. Good luck. πŸ™‚

@Mrs. Kiwi:  I’m so sorry to hear you’ve had to go through this again, hon. πŸ™ That is so unfair. You’ll be in my prayers tonight – wishing you strength, comfort, and healing. XOX

@MrsPuddingface:  Thanks. πŸ™‚ Definitely the crappiest possible outcome imaginable. Especially considering I’m STILL waiting to miscarry. Effing sucks.

Just wanted to send *Hugs*.   I too miscarriged close to Christmas on Dec.  20th at 7 weeks.  It made the Holidays a real downer. So, I’am curious about this same thing. Seeing the dr. on Thursday for a check-up.  He did say he wanted us to wait 2 cycles before we try again.

I went in for a HB scan at 7w2d based on my ovulation test.  The baby measured at 5w4d with no HB.  I went back at 8w0d, on NYE.  It measured 6w1d, and still no HB.  So, my doc gave me an rx for misoprostol and I took it at 8w4d, last Friday.  I had a shockingly mild reaction the drug and thought it didn’t work, but my doc’s scan this Monday showed that it did, and I was very relieved that I didn’t need a D&C.  I seem to have stopped bleeding today, one week after taking the drug.  My doctor said I don’t even need to wait one cycle to try again, so I guess I will pull out my ovulation tests again next week.  It’s a bit of a roller coaster.

In a perfect world, I would conceive in the spring or summer.  I hate summer weather and would rather not be too pregnant in August, plus I’d rather have my kid be a “normal” age for his/her grade rather than the oldest or youngest.  But I’ll be 36 in April so I don’t want to delay any more than I have to.  My husband and I dated for 15 months, were engaged for 8, and then waited one year after getting married to TTC.  It was important to take together as a couple, but now I feel like there is not much more time to waste due to my age.  I wish we had met earlier!
