I knew we were having a boy before my u/s so we had a few names picked out already. We were pretty sure on the name Francis, but before we even left the hospital we decided on a name we both loved, Myles. I didn’t want anyone calling him Frank or Frankie…I hate nicknames like that.

I was going to make the final decision once I saw his face, but I was so exhausted and in shock that I just had a baby that I stuck with the name. I felt so crappy that a name was the last thing on my mind and I wasn’t ready to argue with my husband:)

We narrowed it down to a boy & girl name before we were out of the first trimester – it was crazy easy! So at the 20 week u/s we knew DS’s first name. It was choosing a middle name that was hard;we didn’t finally decide until a week after he was born! (We named him Fenner Michael)

We have taken a list with a couple name options both times. And then named the baby when we saw them. I have always worried to pick something and have a name all over the place and then not have it mach their looks/personality.

We found out Dirty Delete was a girl a little early, 16 weeks, and my husband and I couldnt agree on a name.  We set a deadline of 21 weeks because we were ordering engraved picture frames online. Thats how we announced the official name to the grandparents at Christmas.

We had his name for awhile before we found out what we were having. We had no girl names picked, oops. But we are having a boy I’d say we had the name round 16 weeks. His name is Maddox !! And he needs to get here soon.

For little boy we knew before hand he was a boy and 2 names picked out and it wasn’t offical which name until after he was born. We both were leaning toward the one we picked out but didn’t make it offical until we signed his birth certificate

We had our boy name picked out before we were even engaged.  We’re naming him after DH’s dad and it was so important to him, he asked very early on.  For the girl, we (well, I, since he chose the boy name I got to choose the girl name) decided on the name finally a few days before our 14.5 week ultrasound.  We found out it was a boy.

We haven’t yet. He’s 13. We’ve taken to calling him “the Boy”

Not even TTC yet, but we have a girl name if we have one. Boy would be a little more difficult to come up with, for us.

We decided on a name for each gender before we went to our elective scan at 16 weeks.  I knew she was a girl and had already started calling her by her first name before we found out for sure though.  I don’t remember exactly how far along I was when we decided, maybe around 12 weeks.  We had already decided to go with the first name Zoey (this was the only name my husband added to either list because he loved it so much).  Then one day in the car we were going over all the possible middle names and Lorelei just sounded right.  They say you know when they’re born if the name fits and she’s definitely a Zoey.

I’m glad we had a girl though because we had a boy’s name picked out but we weren’t sold on it.

We couldn’t decide between two names, but when he was born, my husband named him as soon as he saw him (he got to peek before me because I had a c-section and couldn’t see as soon as him).
