A co-worker/friend is making mine.  I’m super excited for it.  I asked her to do it around the 6 month mark, I believe.  Maybe less time than that.  =)

I love the first cake you posted!

We put our order in about 4+ months ago.  The cake is included in our venue package.  Out of curiosity we asked what the price would be if we paid out of pocket and the lady said our cake costs $650!!!!   Insanity!  It’s not even one of their premium cakes!  So glad it’s part of the package.  lol.

Here’s the stock photo of our cake.  Instead of the white/ivory design, it’ll be in purple and the flowers will be in different shades of purple.  Can’t wait to see our final product!

Our wedding cake is still not ordered.  We’ve tried cake at one place and they drew up a design which was nice.  But, we weren’t head over heels in love w/the cake.  So we’re scoping other options out.  I wish it was done, lol.  Everyone’s cakes look lovely!!

We ordered our cupcake cake in May. She books up fast and she was located across the street from the venue so we got free set up and delivery. In all it costed $220 for 150 mini cupcakes in 3 favors with a 6 inch cake on top.

We just ordered ours last week because my mom was supposed to make it and decided that it was too much pressure (she’s a bit of a perfectionist) and so we met with an awesome local baker from our town and she was amazing.  Our wedding cake will be a small two tier cake that is going to be carrot cake and designed with a fall theme.  The wedding cake is 65.00.  Then we are doing sheet cakes-1 full sheet of almond with leaf designs and 1 half sheet of pumpkin spice with leaf designs.  Total: 180.00!!!

We ordered ours the first week of June. We got a fantastic deal through our venue (we had a “cake credit” to use and we fit it RIGHT into the credit amount — so excited!). It will be four tears, ombre, textured buttercream and two flavors.

Here’s an inspiration pic:

We don’t order ours until about 2 weeks before the wedding. We are getting cheesecake for the Cheesecake Factory. It will be around $150. We are going there on Monday for a “tasting”. Yay!

My sister just put in the order for mine, with 45 days to go before the wedding. She was told that she was lucky to get the order in this week because if she had waited til next week, they wouldn’t have been able to accept the order. We didn’t know this place needed at least five week’s notice. I’m glad it’s done, though! I have no idea what it will look like. she says it’s being inspired by the centerpieces she is making and I haven’t even seen photos of those yet.

We ordered two, one for the rehearsal and one for the wedding. Together, they’re about $800 and we ordered on New Year’s Eve.

My wedding is in a little over a year, but my dad already paid for this one. Our venue includes a cake, but they stated they would just substitute a groom’s cake of our choice.
