I’m 26 weeks today and I still look kind of like I’m just awkwardly fat but I’m starting to look a little pregnant! Definitely not obvious big and round pregnant but I got a little bump! Time will still tell.
My sister in law is 10 days ahead of me and she started looking pregnant at like barely 12 weeks and looked fully definitely pregnant by 16 weeks. It’s kind of amazing how different everyone’s body is!

It was quite late on for me. I did have a bump but unless you knew it wasn’t an obvious pregnancy bump. I think I went quite far at work (in a a school) when parents didn’t realise for ages!

Around 24 weeks, but it was only obvious in tight shirts.

About 21…22 weeks it really grew what seemed like overnight. Lol

I recall two moments- one was when I was about 4 months and I’d just gone for an ob check up and I was walking down the street with a friend. I had on a skirt that was low on my hips and a tank top that was riding up on my belly a bit and a guy called across the street “Are you pregnant?” And I laughed and called back “Yes!” And he said “You’re beautiful!”
I really noticed that I had a “round belly pregnant” look after the holidays – about 5 months in. I suddenly looked like I’d stolen the ham and hidden it under my shirt.

I popped at 20 weeks 🙂 It was still a little bump, but you can tell I was pregnant

I’m 18 weeks and it hasn’t happened yet. Darling Husband and I could see a noticeable difference awhile ago and my mom just noticed a few days ago. Strangers are still surprised if they find out, though.

Mrs. Meowerson: i was about 20 weeks when i started to pop. prior to that i just look extremly bloated! i hated that phase that you go through when you are not quite fitting into maternity clothes properly but your regular clothes look all frumpy and awkwardly tight on you and you just look fat lol

Daizy914: This is me now. I am currebtly towards the end of 10 weeks and wish I could just “pop” so I’d have something to show than this bloat of fat around my midsection. It’s not pretty. At all. I started off with a small tummy, but now it’s gotten bigger and harder to hide. FTM here, and I went out to get some maternity pants earlier this week and kind of want to start wearing them. It also doesn’t help that most of my tops have always been fitted, as they loojed goos pre-10lb weight gain the last year….. so I really struggle with clothing options at the moment.

Also curious re: moms carrying multiples and when they pop.

Looking back at my pictures, I officially popped at 19 weeks. There’s another significant jump at 24 weeks, but not as much as 19 weeks.

Mrs. Meowerson: I had a hard time eating too much until around 16ish weeks. Even when the bulk of MS had subsided, I just didn’t have an appetite for weeks. I still ate because I had to, but I don’t think I gained really any weight until around 20 weeks.

Well… I am 21 weeks and I think I popped about 18 weeks. That said, because I haven’t put on weight during my pregnancy and actually lost weight due to being so sick, I think a lot of people still confuse it for to many pieces of cake. So people who know I’m pregnant can tell, but not so much those who don’t.

Mrs. Meowerson: I’m 20 weeks but I don’t think I’ve actually “popped”. My husband can tell but I think I’m still in that “fat/thick” looking stage right now (which is really the crappy end of the deal here! Give me a belly or give me back my stomach!!). No strangers have commented or asked so far and my normal shirts are getting a little too tight to be comfortable but I don’t fill out the stomach section of my maternity shirts at all either.
