My shower is on September 9th and My invites will hopefully go out in the next two weeks. I have only registered for my bigger items but I feel weird registering this soon. I’m 26 weeks. So… At what week did you register?

We registered right around that time…and then I added to it over the next few weeks. I think baby shower registering is really time-consuming, so it’s ok to give yourself extra time to research things and add to it as you figure out what you need.

Mine shower is the 9th too! I registered about 3 weeks ago. It gave me time to play around with my registry before invites went out. I think as long as you register before guests receive your invites and registry information that you should be fine.

I started working on my registry as soon as I was pregnant and I kept it hidden until about 20 weeks. I’m having a shower on 7/21 and 8/18 (his family and then my family, different states). So I wanted to be ready for when invites went out. I definitely do not think 26 weeks is “too soon” at all. Good luck and have fun registering!

Thank you so much for the responses. I guess I need to start cracking away at it.
I have done lots of research I just have not gone to the store to scan the items I like. I remember registering for the wedding and being so tired after and that was when I was 20lbs lighter. Lol
@roxy821: when are you due?

@aandmklover: I just did the entire thing online, I guess I was lazy! If I planned to go scan things in store I could totally understand not feeling up for it 🙂

Darling Husband and i have a private online registry on amazon already. we’re using it to post stuff that we find and want to research more about. it makes it easy to go back to it later instead of having 20 bookmarks. and i don’t want to add anything to pinterest yet because we haven’t made an official announcement. i’m 14w, so 26w is NOT too early!

I’ve done it entirely online, and have been working on it since I found out I was pregnant. Shower is at the end of October for me.

I registered three weeks before our baby shower and even with cutting it somewhat close, a lot of stuff we had registered for at Babies R Us were sold out or clearanced by the time guests went to buy stuff :/ so i’d suggest going as late as possible

@aandmklover-I am due on October 30th. How about you? I brought my mother to register. Just an idea if you are close and especially if it’s her first grandchild, she may be very excited and help out a lot and be able to offer advice on things you never thought of.
