Too late, wedding is in August, I started looking end of April. BUT I found the perfect dress at the second store I went too, fits me perfectly!! Except it’s the tall version (apparently made for brides over 6″ tall or something). Sadly, it was too late to order a regular version, but I decided to go with 5″ heals and get is tailored a bit as well. I was wanting to loose weight – that’s why I waited too late – but I did lose all the weight I wanted 🙂 My recommendation would be to start earlier than 5 months out :p

I didn’t start shopping until 7 months before my wedding date. I was lucky and found my dress exactly 6 months before and got it almost exactly 2 months before the wedding!

I did just order my reception dress from Grace Loves Lace and I’m about 9 weeks out now. Thankfully they had instock! I would definitely say start looking wayyy earlier than I did. I got lucky they didn’t have to rush order mine.

Leave at least 6 months for them to make the dress then another 2-4 weeks for alterations. And time to shop around, not feeling pressured to find something right away. So I would say 9-10 months before?

I bought a dress for cheap only a month into being engaged. But then decided to go to bridal stores to try on more dress and found one I really loved, so I bought that about 10 months out from the wedding. Was told it will arrive by December, Wedding is April next year so plenty of time left.

  • Wedding: August 2019

My wedding is in August 2019, we have already locked the date with the church and the venue, and I plan to start looking for my dress probably in September.

I have not locked down my venue as of yet and we are looking at having the wedding late 2019 but I’ve already started dress shopping! I’m pretty certain I have already found the one but it never hurts to have options as early out as possible IMO!
