I’m about 5’7″ and 130 pounds (pre-pregnancy), I didn’t start showing until just the past few days (at 17 weeks). My pants were a little bit tighter before that but nothing major. I suspect I’ll be able to hide it at school for another few weeks, which is my goal. It makes it easier to hide it if you wear looser-fitting clothes and an open sweater. The open sweater overtop hides/takes away from the from-the-side bump silhouette, which is the only angle that it’s noticable from for the first little while anyway.

I started looking it before 12 weeks so I had to wear loser clothes (that I already had) at work to keep hiding it. You might need to invest in a couple of shirts that are not tight to help keep your secret.

ETA- I’m 5’2 with a short torso so I may have showed earlier than most AND my boss noticed I started wearing less fitted shirts and thought I might be pregnant but he’s the kind of guy that notices everything so I figured I wasn’t pulling any wool over his eyes.

From what I can tell, being tall and skinny like you are OP- you will not show that early.  (From my observations.)  I am just starting to show at almost 20 weeks, and I hear that is when most people show.  I am also tall and healthy, though my starting weight is much higher and I am not showing that much still (though baby is healthy and strong).

I could tell around 12ish weeks but nobody else could really see any sort of bump until maybe 16 weeks, and it wasn’t obvious to many people until closer to 20 weeks.  I’m 7 months now and only recently strangers have been brave enough to ask when I’m due or if I am having a boy or girl.

I’m also only 5’3 but I am a distance runner- I did a marathon in March of ’12 and was 2 months into training for another one when I got pregnant so I could tell quite quickly a change in my body fat distribution.  I have a feeling that was mostly due to the fact that I was no longer running over 30 miles a week though!  I’m sure some of it was just bloating too.

I didn’t start to show until after everyone knew. I announced the pregnancy to extended family, friends and coworkers at around 13 weeks and I didn’t start really showing until probably week 15 – 16. I’m tall – 5’11” but haven’t been what anyone would consider “skinny” since shortly after I started dating DH! I was at a healthy enough weight at around 160 at the time I got KU.
