Did you trigger? If you didn’t test out the trigger, it is difficult to tell whether the hcg the test is picking up is from the trigger shot or pregnancy hormone. My trigger lasted 2+ weeks although most say it is out of your system in 10 days. I personally never tested at home for this reason and just waited for beta. Just keep in mind if you do test to watch whether the line is progressing. For that reason, its important to use the same brand of tests. Good luck. I’d say wait until day 10 but I know it’s hard to wait. My beta for 3rd IVF cycle is Monday and i’m getting antsy but I swore I wouldn’t test this time.

mrspuppylove :  If you didnt trigger you can test around the same time as if you tried naturally. I think the earliest I see bfp is around day 9 but thats too early for many people.  I would try and wait until at least day 10 but keep in mind it may be too early still. Good luck! I know the wait is soo hard!!

I tested out my trigger shot, saw it gone by 5PIUI. Then at 8DPUI, I had a super super squinter. It became a better squinted at 9DPUI. Now due in a month!
