I never had the itch. He proposed on his own at about the 7 year mark but I was never “waiting.”

I was starting to feel the itch around year 2.5- 3. It was a mild but persistant itch. I was ready to change our “titles” to fiance and fiancee and start taking the next step.

id say year 3. i was looking for gold bonds anti itch cream. the funny thing is he provoked the itch when he asked me if i wanted to get married at year 2.5, even called me his fiance. but there was no action behind it, therefore the itch kicked into full gear. now we’re at year 5 and i should have a cabinet stocked with anti itch cream 🙂

It definitely started around year 3. I’m 8 months in, and the itch is starting to break the skin!

I started to feel the itch when I opened a pinterest account and saw all of the wedding inspiration boards!! lol
We were together for about 4.5 or 5 years at that point!
    We’re finally engaged!

Year 2.5-3 is when I started to really itch…by year 3.8 is when we got engaged.

I would say around 2 years – but we are in our late 20s so I think that had a lot to do with it.

Probably at about two years (I’m in my early 30’s) …the 1st year and a half seemed to fly by.

2 years for me…we had a few conversations and went to look at rings then. He proposed last week…a month shy of our 3 year mark.

    2 years for me.

FI-to-be came to visit me for our anniversary (we were in a LDR for 8 months) and suggested we go engagement ring shopping. 5 months later, we are waiting for our custom ring to come back and the time frame for a proposal is the end of 2013.

We have been together for 6 years, but the itch started at year 3. was still hanging around at year 4. got worse at year 5 and is now out of control at year 6. I don’t plan on making it to year 7.

We’re a few months away from year 4 and I started feeling the itch at year 2, even though he faked proposed at 8 months (I knew we weren’t ready then, financially and maturity-wise). I’m hoping sometime in year 4 or definitely during 5 there will be a proposal!
