With my ex, I knew fairly quickly that I wanted to marry him. We had the discussion about a year in, and I would say I started going waiting crazy then. It took another year and a half for him to propose, then a year and a half to settle on a date. I was crazy fed up by that point. Looking back he was dragging his feet the entire time. Now I’m not waiting, I’m not expecting anything. I’ve let my current bf know that I’m not interested in planning a wedding (which is probably a lie, but we’ll see) I would be perfectly happy going to the court house and saying I do.

just a random waiting vent i would like to get off my chest…

i saw a text message that implied he knew when he wants to propose, but that he needs to make time to ring shop, something along those lines. i know that’s fantastic that it’s on his radar, and it’s my fault for snooping that it’s bothering me, but every time we’re at home doing nothing all i can think was “how can you say there’s no time to ring shop when i can think of 5 nights in a row you could have lied about your whereabouts and gone”

i am definitely waiting crazy right now.
