It was around 15 weeks… Although I caught myself doing it last night (21 weeks). But I’m not entirely on my belly. I have a body pillow that I put most of my weight on so the baby “hangs” in the space between the pillow and the bed, if that makes any sense. 🙂

Probably around then, maybe 16 or 17 weeks.  I first felt her kicking laying on my stomach, she’s very sensitive about having enough tummy room, so then it would remind me to switch positions since she’d kick me if I rolled on my belly.

I’m still doing it at 18 weeks.

I finally had to stop at about 24 weeks when my belly came out.  It was such a bummer because I sleep best on my belly!

I slept on my belly until I couldnt anymore.. I am more comfortable that way… Get a body pillow then it kinda feels the same, but your not really on your belly and putting so much pressure on it. Hope this helps. 🙂

I actually quit sleeping on my stomach at about nine weeks because my boobs hurt so bad!  Now my boobs have stopped hurting but my belly gets uncomfortable.  I miss stomach sleeping…Frown

As an aside from this post and being inquisitive since I’m a belly sleeper, when can you go back to sleeping on your tummy after birth?  I figure C-section births would take a month but what about vaginal births?

I stopped around 18 weeks when my belly was getting big enough that it wasn’t comfy anymore.  I still wake up sleeping on my back all the time though… I know we’re not supposed to and I never do it on purpose, but I wake up in that position often.  I’m 36 weeks but baby’s on the small side still so maybe that’s why it doesn’t make me uncomfortable!

I never stopped… but I slept on my back for a couple days after because I slept on the couch downstairs so I didn’t have to walk up and down them.

beekiss Im not sure about C section when you can go back but for vaginal really whenever your  not soar body wise… It just depends on your boobs, how bad they hurt, and how much your leaking.. I felt like Iwas pumping or feeding all day and they would still be full so sometimes I would wake up in it fun fun.

Gosh I stopped so early, maybe like 6-8 weeks? At first it was because my boobs were honestly too sore to sleep on my stomach, then when they weren’t anymore, I may have done it a few times for a short period but then my stomach was starting get harder and I felt weird sleeping on it. I miss it so much.

Oh how I miss sleeping on my belly.  I would say it got uncomfortable around 20 weeks, that’s when I stopped.  I am 34 weeks now and I still wake up on my back almost every morning, despite falling asleep on my side and trying to convince my body to stay put. 🙂  My OB told me that if I am getting like that on my own, its fine and not to stress about it to the point that I don’t sleep well because of worry about my position.

I got a good 5 months in before I had to switch it up. I can only sleep on my belly to be comfortable, so I hope this baby tucks in super far for as long as he or she can this time!
