We’re doing ours on a Sunday evening (after 5:30 pm)– our photographer suggested that time, since the dusk lighting lends to really interesting pictures.

We took ours on a Friday afternoon and got stuck in really horrible traffic.  We lost over an hour of good sunlight because of it.

2 hrs before sunset is when the light will be most flattering. And of that time frame, the last about 30 min is best 🙂 (ETA: Sunrise too if you’re up for it!)

Try to avoid the middle of the day at all costs. We actually planned our ceremony around pictures not being before 5.

Day is up to your photographer. Most prefer mid-week because Saturday’s are wedding day’s and sunday they wish to spend with their family/SO/kids after not seeing them Saturday.

Our Photographer is out of state. We are going this thursday and taking a long holiday weekend. Thursday evening will be our session.

    7am on a Wednesday for us 🙂

Sunset and sunrise offer great lighting potential, just a thought.

On a Saturday around 10-11am. We were in a LDR when we took our e-pics so we had to do it on the weekend.

Our photogs don’t do E-Shoots during the weekend because they have so many wedding on the books. They told us though, an dI just took a day off work and did it on a Monday. We spent most of the day with them :).

We did ours on a Saturday late afternoon. We were able to get plenty of shots w/ good lighting & then some others when it was dusk.

We had our pictures taken shortly after sunrise around 6:45 or 7 am midweek.  I was getting married in Cleveland and we wanted pictures taken on Lake Erie (much prettier than it sounds–i promise!) and sunrise offered the best lighting and calmer waters.  That did mean I had to wake up before 5am to get prettied up, but totally worth it!
