i just spilled the beans at 9 weeks…. while i feel like it was still too early (makes me nervous)… i wanted everyone to find out from us. Our close family and friends already knew so it was just everyone else. Needless to say, it feels good to just have it out there and the support and loving comments we have recieved has been overwhelming…
soooo when did you spill the beans?

We told at 12 weeks. We told family and then I made a subtle picture change with my girls in their Big sister shirts. No status update though.

I’m going to announce on July 17th – our 2 year wedding anniversary and I will be almost 11 weeks then. It will be amazing if it doesn’t come out on FB before then as most of our close friends/family know. LOL.

It was 13 weeks for us! My boss and our families knew before then though.

i didn’t officially post anything on fb until i started showing around 14 weeks. I posted a pic of my belly. Im really petite, so i started showing pretty quickly.

My SIL just miscarried at 12 weeks, so that cemented for us not wanting to tell people till at least 12 weeks when it happens for us.

i just came out on facebook 2 nights ago! i was 20w5d. I wanted to wait until i had both my scans and results from the first and second prental screenings before going public. Although i had been telling a lot of people as i talked to them to personally after the 13 or 14 week mark.

@stephanie63087: after week 20 we changed our profile picture (we have a joint account) in which I was clearly showing. We got a lot of comments and this is pretty much how people knew, but we didn’t “officially announce” it.

Made an announcement on fb at 13.5 weeks! We waited til after the 12 week scan to make sure everything was developing as it should and the person doing the ultrasound gave us the nuchal measurements which were within the healthy range. Quite a few people knew by then and it was getting harder to keep the news off facebook until we announced. About 2 weeks before we did announce I did a facebook friend clean-out so that the random people I didnt know well and people I didn’t have much to do with during high school didn’t get to know the personal news.

we told at 7 weeks and ended up miscarrying at 20 weeks. Next pregnancy we probably wont announce it officially until we have the baby.
