It didn’t. If anything, my rock looks bigger now than it did when I first got it.

No shrinkage here either. Quite the opposite actually. I have a 2.2 ct moissanite solitaire and most of the time, I love the size on my finger but sometimes I wonder if I should have gone for something more along the lines of a 1.5ct.

I’ve had my ring 5 months now and have yet to experience this.

I have a 2.5 carat centre in a double halo and I think it’s small sometimes too! Seriously I have rocks in my head, pun intended lol. I work with diamonds though and see whopping 6 carats plus. Sadly not on my finger though.

Um, nope, had this ring just short of two years and shrinking never crossed my mind even after weddingbee.

within the first 2 months, maybe sooner, lol.  Sometimes it looks like 1.5ct to me.  I just take it off for a few days, and when I wear it again, it looks bigger.

I downgraded to a smaller ring and have just gone smaller still.

Lots of big rocks online but very few in real life and it turns out it just really wasn’t my style. I love my new ring and am going to sell my old one. Can put the money elsewhere since I’m happy without it.

I’m the opposite actually! I thnk it looks bigger, and am thinking should I have gone a half carat smaller? but don’t tell my Fiance he will be like really??? -___- (LOL)

Btw, I loveee three stone rings. I was looking at that myself when looking at settings. Yours look very big to me if it helps at all.

It didn’t. I actually downsized from a 2ct equivalent solitaire as I just often felt it was too much for me. I also have an alternate three stone moissanite ring with a 1.5ct equivalent centre with 0.75ct sides (on a size 5) and I find it too big much of the time. I’d be happy going smaller with it.

I feel more comfortable wearing my other rings which have stones or centre stones ranging from 0.5ct to 1.25ct. Even if my halo measures larger than a 2ct stone would, I feel comfortable with it as the centre stone is 6.7-7.2mm or so which somehow makes it feel less big.

I love my stone so shrinkage isn’t an issue for me BUT if we’re talking settings…I’d like to change mine in the very near future and I just had that custom made almost a year ago *sigh* lol

MrsFuzzyFace :  ahh I love your ring!  It was about 6months I think. As a pp said though, there are whoppers on the bee. I don’t see loads of biggies around me day to day.
