My thoughts change daily on it. Ive had my ring over a month now. It’s a .91 carat with a pave band. I feel like my ‘shrinkage’ is because we originally chose a 1.3 carat, but then bumped down for budget reasons. My fiance even said he wish it was a little bigger when he first gave it to me. But honestly, I love it the way it is. My ring is about average size in my group of girlfriends (we range from .5 – 2 carats)

All the time, I got it and thought omg it’s too big. But now I have got used to it, sometimes I do catch sight of it in the mirror and think ohhhhh shinney!! But then in the next breath I think, I could of gone bigger

I usually have my mom put it on her finger and look at it. Then I realize it is large.

i have a 1.60 center stone and im having that effect… I hate how eyes play tricks on you.. When we first got it i couldn’t believe how big it was … Not anymore???? :/

Hmmm, it hasn’t, since I stopped worrying about what’s on other bees’ fingers. After the bee spurred me to rapid cycle through a bunch of not-excellent rings to keep up with the other bees, I calmed my tits and was grateful for the ring given to me by my husband, and the ring I inherited. It’s enough.

For what it’s worth, yours looks huge! Every time I see yours I drool a bit – it’s like mine but yours is bigger!
But to answer your question, it kind of depends on the day/angle/lighting? Sometimes I look at it and am like “whoa that’s huge.” Other times, not so much. It’s weird

I love your 3 stone! It’s perfect proportions. I have a 2ct moissy and I feel sometimes like it’s too big. I have 1.7 ct pear that is not set yet so I’ll have to see how I feel on this one.

I’ve had my ring almost a month and have not yet experienced the dreaded shinkage syndrome. But it’s also been at the jeweler for a couple of days as I knocked my center diamond loose so I’ve been ringless. I pick it up tonight so I’ll probably think it’s huge like when I first got it.
OP, I love your ring.

I have a ring that’s similar to OP… it took about a month for shrinkage to set in.
I take my ring off for a few days and when I put it back on… voila!!
(I think this site contributes to “shrinkage!!” -seeing all the ginormous rings. Especially since gemstones are more mainstream now and many can afford to go bigger.)

I’ve had mine for 7 months and I feel like the opposite is happening! I feel like it’s growing whenever I look at it!

I have a .26 carat diamond and it looks perfect on my finger. I never realized how tiny that is until I came on Weddingbee, but it doesn’t bother me because this size is perfect for me and I’m satisfied.

The minute I put it on 🙂 I have a 1.5 on a size 5 3/4 and would love to go bigger one day

I’ve had my ring for almost 5 months and actually notice it as larger than i originally did when first getting it. I’m very happy with the size (it’s a 0.53). I notice when I am not on here I notice it as bigger than when I am though haha.

Granted I have only had my new anniversary ring a few months it is still HUGE and i think it is very unlikely that i will ever stop thinking it is HUGE and if I do someone needs to slap me lol 😂 .

Oh I change my mind regularly! Some days it’s tiny other days I feel it’s too big! But sure isn’t it a woman’s prerogative to change her mind 😁😁😁
