Sometimes in different lights mine looks totally different! I know it is a descent size and I’m privileged to have it, but some days I think it’s small and would love to go bigger. Other days I’m in awe of how sparkly it is, and how it looks! In the grocery store, it always looks amazing! Haha! It is a 1.5 or a little bigger ideal cut!

My ring never started “shrinking” and I am stil caught off guard by how beautiful it is sometimes–maybe because it is so perfect in my opinion that’s why I haven’t experienced any “shrinkage.”

I did the same thing with my mum! I loved her trying it on and modelling it for me 😀

I don’t have this problem at all. My problem is a constant paranoia that my ring is somehow growing in size and will come off of my finger, lol. I had it sized and 4.5 was the smallest size that would go over my knuckle, a 4 came to a dead stop and they didn’t have 4.25 to try but that probably would have taken some skin along with it if it had gone on. The bottom part of my finger is smaller than my knuckle so my ring moves around on my finger sometimes and makes me paranoid, even though it takes some effort to get it overy my knuckle. I just can’t wait to be married and get to put the wedding band on there too and hopefully stop the movement. Here’s a picture of my ring.

Hoping not to offend as I’m no spring chick, but I feel like shrinkage probably happens when hands start to age… the ring starts to compete with less smooth and glowing skin. This is why I have a backup plans If and when that time comes 😉

Don’t you dare touch that ring! It’s perfect! Seriously, I think the proportions of your ring are perfect both as a ring and in relation to your hand.
My 2 carat solitaire started to shrink quite soon after I got it, too much gawping on Pricescope combined with getting used to seeing it on my hand. These days it has big and small days. I could go bigger but I won’t. I love my low setting that means I can wear my ring all the time without worry.
