My Fiance just picked out his tux this past weekend and we are getting married on the 20th of august.

I wasnt too worried because I know that since he is renting, they usually have everything on stock at the stores.

I wouldn’t worry too too much (though if I were you, I’d be worried too, I’m like that). We were told at the tux rental place that they can turn around an order in two weeks.

Why don’t you call the place you’re going to rent from and find out when they need the order by?

We picked out the guy’s attire like 4 months ago. We just recently went in to confirm FI’s measurements and get the ball rolling on getting the other guys fitted. We sent out their informational email last week and all of our guys have to be measured by August 7th. I’d definitely get a move on this if I were you.

My Fiance decided last month.  However, he went back on Monday to make the purchase…we are round 70 days out now.

lol, i’m getting married in october and my Fiance hasn’t even decided if he’s renting or buying, or from where. actually, he hasn’t even asked his entire bridal party! makes me crazy, but boys will be boys…he’ll get it done, don’t worry!

we got married last august 7th, and he bought his suit on july 4th. it took about a week to get alterations, but it was all super fast. he knew what he wanted though (a dark gray suit), so it was just a matter of shopping around and finding the right fit. he had told his groomsmen though what to get much earlier (they wore black suits)

My dude was the same way. We just went the weekend before last and our wedding is in September. I pretty much dragged him to a bunch of different places and said, “We have to get this done!”

Nothing has been done for the groomsmen’s clothing. It’s driving me insane because Fiance says he wants to do it, but he doesn’t do it! I figure it’ll all work out eventually and am trying to chill out about it.

I am so glad to see my Fiance is not the only one putting this event off until the last min.  We are getting married in December.  I have pretty much everything done that CAN be done ahead of time.  The only two items left are grooms ring and grooms suit.  He is not doing a tux as we are having a small casual wedding.  Every time I mention going out to look at rings or a new suit he says I don’t see what the hurry is, were not getting married until December.   I have visions of him running out the night before the wedding looking for a suit … this is what he does at Christmas time.  He is a Christmas eve shopper.  I wish I could help him understand that the benefit of getting the suit early is the reduction of stress on me.  But then he simply tells me don’t worry I’ll get it done.  I wish I could not worry.

My Fiance picked out tuxes (for groomsmen and himself) about two months ago. I mentioned several times that it needed to be done and he procrastinated, so finally I just said “We’re going to Mens Wearhouse this weekend to pick out tuxes” and we did.

Yeah, this has been on our list for months, and just never gets done. Wedding is 72 days out, Fiance has not yet decided if he is doing suit or tux, renting or buying. Yes, this is making me slightly insane, but I’ve got other things to worry about – he will get to it!

We started looking at kilt suits around the same time I was looking for dresses. He’s now paid the deposit with nine months to go.

We just went and picked the style/colors out last weekend! I don’t know about other places, but at Men’s Warehouse as long as the guys get measure two weeks before the wedding day you’re good to go (not that I’m recommending waiting that long, just saying you’ve got plenty of time)!
