My DH was the same way! Finally (like 6 weeks before the wedding) he decided to go with Thick As Thieves – an online company out of California (he’s a huge internet nerd btw!) and I was hesitant but it turned out amazing! Their prices are very decent for a made to order suit. When it arrived it needed to have the pants hemmed and then be pressed. The rest of our groomsmen got their suits/tuxes from Men’s Warehouse and they were pretty much terrible! They weren’t pressed well, we had multiple that didn’t fit (and no they didn’t gain/lose weight) and several had to be sent back within days of the wedding. Here are a few pictures of what I’m talking about:
My sweet groom on the left with a properly fitted suit – my brother on the right. Notice the sleeve and pant lengths? And this is after my brother’s was sent back for a smaller size – the jacket was still too big.
Another one of our groomsmen. He’s a pretty slim guy but looks like the jacket is eating him alive!
Sorry this kind of turned into a rant but there are lots of places to look into – I’d just avoid MW. I’d start by finding out what he wants to wear and then enticing him with ideas!
