I had hyperemesis lasting Week 5-17. 3 months of pure hell and lost 10% of my body weight 🙁

Mine let up around 13 weeks. I know it’s hard but try to eat, it’s worse when you have an empty stomach!

Mine started at about 5 weeks and has kicked it up a notch as I approach week 8.  I’ve started taking B6 and am on some meds from my doc so I can do things like eat.  Fortunately, I have only had a few taste aversions so any food I can get down tastes ok.  My mom said hers lasted the full 1st trimester, then went away, so hopefully mine will go away in a month

20 weeks pregnant and STILL sick with all day morning sickness! I was put on Diclectin at about 7 weeks, and it only takes the edge off! Doctor has tried to wean me off it twice now, and I get violently ill without it.

Don’t let my story scare you though! I am the only pregnant lady I know personally who is dealing with this bad of nausea! The average in my circle is the nausea petering out around 14-16 weeks…and nobody else has been feeling sick all day and night.

bibber :  Ugh, I’m sorry.  🙁  I hope you find something that helps?  I assume you’ve tried all of the natural remedies?  Ginger, peppermint, lemon water….I found that if I was hit with a powerful wave of nausea, sipping some lemon water kind of helped.  None of the other things really helped me, but everyone is different!  I also did magesium bath salt foot soaks and used a magnesium lotion.  There has been some correlation to low magnesium levels with morning sicknes…not that correlation means causation of course, but  I was trying anything!

I highly recommend trying the Diclegis though.  It’s time released, so it has a longer lasting effect than just taking B6 and Unisom on their own.  And maybe it will take the edge off just enough to keep you from actually throwing up.  Fingers crossed for you!

Around 12-13 weeks. I think I had a steady stream of crackers going into my mouth for those weeks.

week 30 :/ it was awful I had hyperemisis so I threw up as well and landed in the hopsital then on top of that had to be induced b /c my Bridal Party skyrocketed.

My body doesn’t like being preggo. I do recommend zofran as well except now I think there is a study showing heart defects so do your research.

bibber :  I was very nauseated at 7-10 weeks, and now in the 11th it is much better. No vomiting luckily, but queasy most of the day for those few weeks.

After I gave birth, I was in a lot of pain so I can’t remember exactly when it happened just that while I was in the hospital I realized I finally didn’t feel nauseated.

Started at exactly week 6 (along with a coffee aversion) and stopped at week 14 or so. I had all day nausea…plus dry heaved /puked if bad smell or if stomach got too empty yet wasn’t hungry. I had to force myself to eat….basically small snacks all day.

I’m now almost week 18 and what a difference…so nice to wake up and not feel sick.

I have a friend who is 20 weeks and lost nearly 20 lbs….she’s still nauseated but it’s a tad better. Everyone  and every pregnancy is different.
