I’m feeling my LO move all the time and I’ve felt the kicks from the outside a couple times, but every time Darling Husband (or anyone else for that matter) touches my belly the baby stops. I’m dying for him to feel his son’s kicks! Do we just have to wait till there is less room in there?

Mine JUST felt the baby kick last night and I am almost 24 weeks so I feel like this took FOREVER! My cousin on a fluke felt my baby kick a few weeks ago though, so I think it was mostly just timing that took Darling Husband and I so long. I could tell he was frustrated because when he was around baby always seemed to be docile! He grabbed my belly once and said “PLEASE WAKE UP!”. Now that he has felt baby he is satisfied, he even said it was kind of weird! Lol!

It was around week 22. They baby has to get big and strong enough.
Just wait til you hit the point where you can see your whole belly move. It’s so bizarre!

cant.wait.to.be.mrs.d: Same thing happened to me. It took well into 20+ weeks before Darling Husband was able to feel.
I don’t know how far along you are, but try having your Darling Husband place his ear on your belly. That’s pretty much how my Darling Husband felt him most of the time becuase we seem to have a boy that likes to play games and quite when daddy tries to feel him. Darling Husband would press his ear to my belly, and all of a sudden he’d feel a kick. Granted, it was a kick on his ear, but he felt it 🙂

I first felt the baby at 19w6d. My husband felt the baby at 20w3d, but then not again until 22w2d. He is only able to feel it when it is a super hard kick in a good spot. You definitely have to catch the right time.

megz06: I guess that would have been some good information to add! I’m 19+2. He’s been trying to listen so hopefully he’ll catch a kick to dh head soon!
Mermaid1082: I can’t wait to be able to see it! Some days I feel like it’s taking so long to get to the fun parts, but then I realize the first half of this pregnancy has absolutely flown by!!
MrsTeasandkeys: Baby boy is definitely more active in the morning and afternoon so Darling Husband is never around for it. He’s actually being more patient than I am! It kills me that I get to feel such a cool thing and I can’t share how it feels with him yet!

I’m 22w 5d and my husband still can’t feel him kicking, although the kicks are getting way stronger so it’ll have to happen soon!

Around 20 weeks or so. I started feeling flutters at 16 maybe? I can’t remember exactly now!

megz06: That is how my Darling Husband felt our baby for the first few times too. It was surprising to say the least! I think I was also 20+ weeks, although I had been feeling baby since 14 weeks or so.

i’m 20 weeks along and we can both feel the baby rolling around but not kicking just yet. i’m sure that’s going to change in the couple of weeks.

Ha, well I would have said 22 weeks but I’m 25+4 today and last night my husband said “wow, that was the first time I actually really felt the baby move”.
