I felt like it was soon when we were about a month out. We had a long engagement (2.5yrs) and a long relationship (12 yrs) so it seemed like it would never come!

I’m a little over a year ahead (if all goes well) and I’m thinkin it’s soon ! I can’t imagine when we send out invites and have our full deposit 45 days before the event. :/

@excitedtobeMRSF:  I think “soon” is relative to how long you engagement is. Also, if you are having a lot of DIY elements, you may start to feel the pressure earlier, hence soon would be alot sooner.

I’ve been engaged for a year and have 5 months left, it’s definitely starting to feel “soon” now. I knew once we got to the fall/holidays that time would fly and it is. But I know in January things will slow down a bit, but I’ll have a lot to do and a lot to look forward to!!

I considered ours “soon” around 2 months, we had a 10 month engagement.  I did a ton of DIY, but had started early and wasn’t behind on any projects.

The date that made me think “whoa our wedding is soon” was when we clicked down from 100 days to 99 days.  Something about going from triple digits to double digits just made it real finally.  But we had a relatively long engagement since we were engaged for one month shy of two years.

Um, about now! So roughly six months out. Probably because we procrastinated a lot earlier on, and it’s just the past few weeks when we’ve actually started making decisions on the venue, wedding planner, photographer etc.

I felt like the past month or so is when we started getting the “soon!” comments.  I haven’t really felt that up until this past weekend… It’s on like Donkey Kong in about 2 weeks. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

@excitedtobeMRSF:  My wedding has been “soon” since I started planning it last August! We only had 5 months to get everything together and there’s still so much to do.

@excitedtobeMRSF:  We’re 6.5 months out right now and Fiance keeps saying it’s “soon,” in fact he’s been saying it’s soon since September! I don’t feel it yet though. I don’t think I will at least until two-three months out. For reference, we’re having a 15 month engagement.

When I hit 100 days. That was my freakout moment when it suddenly felt like the time was getting close.
