(Closed) when do i take off my veil?

I think you can leave it on as long as you want. It also depends on how your reception is planned. I am planning on having mine on for the ceremony, pictures, and about 1/2 way into the reception. I will probably wear it for our first dance, father daughter dance and cake cutting. But it will come off before the *real* dancing starts!

i dont know if there is any kind of rule about this, but im happy to tell you what i did: i wore mine through the first dance so i had it on for pics, our entrance into the reception, and the dance. i liked taking the veil off after the first dance because it was like "ok, youve seen me in all my bridal glory, now it’s time to par-tay!"    hope this helps!

I plan on taking mine off after the ceremony but like the previous posters I don’t think there is any "rule" about it- whatever you feel comfortable doing.

i’m also taking mine off after the ceremony and pictures…but agree with the rest of the posts, there is no rule!
